No matter what you are in the market for (unique furniture, design services, or an up.cycling project), a touch of 1-OAK's creative design will help transcend your space. For me, design style is about having the CREATIVE EYE to see a space and transform it into something much more captivating. A certain look, a particular feel, an ART FORM in its own right. STYLE is an expression of who you are and DESIGN is the catalyst that allows others to see it. So when it comes to design style, I focus on creating a space that reflects a persons INDIVIDUALISM and uniqueness. Whether MID-CENTURY, traditional, transitional, contemporary or something in between, my greatest joy is helping people develop their own style. Sometimes its a REALIZED VISION and sometimes it's a PROCESS THAT EVOLVES over time. I am CERTIFIED IN INTERIOR DESIGN and hold an MBA and BA degree. My approach to design stems from my background in marketing and public relations and understanding the importance of creating impressions, evoking a feeling, and telling a story --- essentially, crafting a brand. Ones home should represent who they are. It should speak to those who enter. It should impress upon those who leave. It should be YOUR BRAND! I am passionate and enthusiastic about design. Always learning. ALWAYS GROWING. I prefer to stay out of the box and let my CREATIVE SPIRIT and paradigm knowledge of interior design guide me in bringing design dreams to life. I love what I do!
