Kitchens Squared is an award winning Melbourne kitchen and bathroom design and manufacturer that can design and build a new kitchen or bathroom and install it in your home. We do complete Melbourne kitchen and bathroom renovations* on existing homes, whether your style is modern, contemporary or classic. *Kitchen and bathroom "renovations" are an existing kitchen or bathroom removal and a new kitchen or bathroom installed. Have your Melbourne kitchen or bathroom designed by our experienced designers, each with over 16 years in experience in Melbourne. Once the design is complete we will manufacture your new kitchen or bathroom in our factory in Melbourne, prepare the site which includes removing existing kitchen or bathroom and setting up for an the newly designed kitchen or bathroom, and then install your project through to completion. This will all be coordinated and completed by our professional, experienced and patient staff. All kitchens are manufactured & assembled direct in our factories in Australia with Australian made board.

We have just finished an extensive renovation of kitchen, bathrooms and laundry completed , initially Kim walked us through the design stage and helped us choose fixtures and fittings, and then Lloyd and team completed the build on time to our complete satisfaction, we could not recommend their service highly enough.

Kim and Lloyd completed our kitchen renovation 12 years ago and am very happy with the way the design and structure is standing the test of time. Kim designed the kitchen layout and her team assembled. They where courteous, respectful, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. It was an amazing transformation and makes me smile today as l watch my teenagers utilise it.

We had our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry done by Kitchen Squared and we were immediately impressed with their friendly and efficient service. Everything ran smoothly and the worksite was always left clean. Trades were co-ordinated perfectly so that our project was completed within the indicated time frame. We were beyond happy with the end results and would highly recommend them to anyone. We look forward to using kitchen squared again for our up and coming project in the new year.

Visited showroom and spoke to a lovely assistant, unfortunately her name escapes me We were with her for an hour and were so impressed. We were waiting for a 'ball park' figure from the very detailed measurements given but were called by the owner Kim to come in to see her. So in we dutifully went feeling great due to our previous experience a few days before. We were met with a very cold owner who right from the moment we walked in was not the slightest bit interested in our project. She did not acknowledge my partner initially until he introduced himself. Her eyes did not even look at him. The lack of interest in our project was due to the fact we had already had a small area built in our kitchen and were doing our own plumbing and electrical work. KS only want the WHOLE project or nothing. In other words FULL control. We could have saved ourselves A LOT of time and effort and a 1 hour round trip if we had been given the courtesy and told all of this on the phone. Very disappointed. I only hope the lovely assistant we dealt with previously was not in trouble given the fact [name witheld] quoted " she should have told you all this". [Name witheld] knew very well what we wanted. We did not need to be seen in person to be told a resounding, "No" KS is not interested!!!! We feel very let down and their behaviour towards us was very disappointing.

Hi Allan & Donna, thanks for your review.
Although we could not help you, we are very sorry to hear you were disappointed in our company and we do take all reviews seriously for the benefit of our business and clients going forward. We have since added in some training with our showroom hosts to avoid this situation happening again, although as you nicely mentioned, they are very willing to help all visitors to our business, and they are keen to learn more to improve in this area. We also apologize that any of your time was wasted in this situation.
The reason we do not do parts of a kitchen or bathroom renovation is something I wanted to explain so you understand why we do what we do. We do not want it to be seen as a lack of interest in your project, but rather a specialized or niche market that we have achieved over almost 20 years in business. We also stay within our local area (of which you are) as we find there is more than enough renovation work to avoid us travelling longer distances to jobs.
We are required by Law to comply with the Building code as registered building practitioners in relation to all aspects, including, not contract splitting, waterproofing, contracts law, and legal compliances along with many others.
We give our clients the exceptional results they are paying us for by using all of our own people which guarantees three things.
1. We know the job will be done when we require on schedule to avoid clients being without these very important rooms for any longer than necessary.
2. We know the job will be done right, up to building code, as well as our standard.
3. Our clients know that they have one person to call if there are any variations, questions or concerns through the project, not getting the run around. (e.g. One trade blaming the other with none accepting responsibility etc)
So again, we apologize our company is not suited to do what you require as well as the time wasted, and we wish you every success with your job going forward.
If anyone needs a COMPLETE Kitchen or bathroom renovated and understands the benefits of using a registered builder that manages the entire project we are more than happy to help.

On a recommendation from a friend within the trade, we contact Kim and Lloyd (Kitchens Squared) to undertake the cabinetry for a new house – Kitchen, Laundry, Bathrooms and Walk in Wardrobe. We quickly realised that Kim and Lloyd were exceptionally Professional, Informative and very Experienced. Not only did we end up with amazing Kitchen, Laundry, Bathrooms and Walk in Wardrobe but shelving, bookcase and cabinets in the family room. All installed by Derrick “The Superman” We have also used Kitchens Squared for another kitchen and bathroom with excellent results where they were responsible for all trades people. Have recommended Kitchens Squared to friends for renovations and they were also delighted with the outcome. Everything finished, working, clean and on time. Last job was Jan 2016.

I had been planning on getting the kitchen renovated for 3 years. It was by chance I passed Kitchen Squared. I knew from the moment I walked into their showroom, that I had struck gold. The team were very professional and respectful with outstanding personalized service. I was very confident and had peace of mind that I had made the best choice. I was most impressed from the initial planning, drawing up of work schedule (which was strictly adhered to) to the end product. Thank you Susan, you designed the perfect kitchen for me in the little space I had. To Lloyd and his professional team for completing that beautiful end product, I am still ecstatic, and just keep admiring the workmanship. I have had it in now for 6 months and there is not a thing I regret or wished I had done differently. I have attached photos to show the high quality product this company provides. Wow what an experience! From the moment that I first walked into the Kitchens Squared showroom my experience with the team has been an absolute pleasure. Lloyd, Kim and the team have just finished renovating our brand new kitchen and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. But not only are we happy with our new kitchen we are really pleased with the service of the whole team who are a one stop shop when it comes to renovating, which is essential for people who don’t have any tradie contacts! The designers are really helpful and knowledgeable, they had great ideas that complimented our own personal style and made suggestions that would not only improve the visual space but cater to the function of the room. We were kept informed every step of the way and the team guided us through the process from design, selecting products, quotation, build and installation, all trades are project managed and coordinated by the Kitchen Squared team which meant I didn’t need to be chasing anyone up at the eleventh hour. When it came time for the build to begin and our kitchen to be installed, the team of tradesman involved were all very professional, they were efficient workers and had a keen eye for all the minor details and finishing touches. They all cleaned up after themselves every day and would talk through each day’s jobs and what key items needed to be finished to stay on schedule, if there were any concerns or questions that I had they would happily explain their decision making and rationale. As a side note they were all very respectful and considerate of our home. I cannot recommend Kitchens Squared highly enough for your next kitchen or bathroom renovation.

Kitchens Squared is a very professional and able company no matter what your renovation needs are. The owners lloyd and kim are very knowledgeable, their attention to detail and organization skills are second to none. The design team is brilliant and will assist you the whole way, not to mention all the tradesmen they use are excellent at what they do. I cannot praise this company highly enough, it was a truly wonerful experience.

We have been absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and much of the success lays with Lloyd and his dedicated team at Kitchens Squared. We had taken months planning this project, but it was finding a builder that was the hardest work of all. From the moment we spoke with Lloyd on the phone, and he insisted on us coming out to see the standard and finish of his kitchens, we knew that he was potentially the right choice for us. Our designer Keryn was sensational. It was through her persistence, hard work and patience that she cleverly designed a layout that met all of our requirements - even getting rid of the dreaded corner pantry. It was her design that eventually won us over and from that moment onwards the project was handled with exceptional detail and professionalism. Thank you to a great team especially Derek the installer, Leon and a wonderful team of tradesmen including electricians, plumbers, tilers, and plasterers. The project moved very well and even with small hiccups along the way Lloyd was the best person we could have handling our affairs. Thank you Lloyd! We wish you well in all your future endeavours. You created a beautiful kitchen for us and for that we are very grateful.
