We hired Depole Design (Kim) to help us determine the best layout for our galley kitchen renovation. We had a preliminary phone call (due to Covid) where we reviewed our basic "must and nice to haves". We then provided photos and detailed measurements and discussed our preferred color schemes and finishing touches. We received a Powerpoint with sketches and sample photos so we could visualize the various options. We received a package with various tile, paint and grout samples. We had another call to review all of the materials. Kim also introduced us to two of her vendors for cabinetry, countertops and tile. We had excellent service from them and got great, competitive prices. Both vendors gave us several full size samples to take home so we could put down floor and wall tile options and hold up a cabinet door in different light. Our kitchen demo just started, but we have a great idea of how it will look when we are done. Highly recommended!! Will add before and after pics.

I met Kim through Houzz and she helped me furnish my dream apartment. Her ideas are wonderful! She's so hardworking and put her heart into helping me make the space exactly what I wanted. Shopping with her was an absolute blast too; she's a riot!

I met Kim through Houzz. I had never before worked with an interior designer, but I was making a long distance move and had no idea where to start after signing the lease for my new apartment. As soon as we spoke on the phone I knew we would be sympatico. We discussed ideas and before we met in person Kim had checked out the space and had developed boards with colors and fabrics as a starting point. I came to New York for a whirlwind weekend where we reviewed her presentation and visited design stores she had pre-scouted. I usually know what I like when I see it, and in no time we made some great choices. We had so much fun shopping that a salesgirl asked if we were related. We said no, we'd just met that morning! Over the next couple of months she sent ideas and fabrics and we continued to make choices. With Kim's guidance my apartment looks exactly as I had pictured it in my mind. It is simple, clean, elegant yet so comfortable. She found a wonderful solution to use as both dining area and kitchen workspace. Every day I marvel at how perfectly it works. She took charge and oversaw all deliveries and rode herd on the companies to keep to our schedule. All in all, I only made that one weekend visit in person and Kim took care of everything else. What a relief to have someone with a great sense of design and work ethic. When I arrived in New York to stay, I walked in and was greeted by a beautiful space that said Welcome!

Kim and her team were recruited to design and furnish a two-bedroom/two-bath new high-rise apartment in Fort Lee, NJ. at a reasonable, affordable price. Kim was extremely savvy and creative in putting together a beautiful and functional living space for us which included our twin 5-year-old daughters. The apartment was featured in the real estate section of the New York Post. She handled everything from flooring, lighting, painting, and furniture in a timely manner. Her talent and vision united with the ability of great communication and problem-solving made the experience of working with her a delight. We look forward to working with her again in the near future.

When I moved out, Kim was suggested to me by my granddad. And, as he suggested, she really took the hassle and headache out of renovating my apartment's bedroom and getting settled in. She even went the extra mile to make me feel at home in the Big City (which I only visit for short periods), introducing me to events, places, and people there.

I met Kim Depole through the Houzz platform as I was seeking a designer to create a special environment for my practice. It was important to me that my professional office felt welcoming and represented my taste for fine design. My expectations were far exceeded with Kim's endless recommendations for furniture and furnishings. She was able to transform a simple coat closet into an architectural feature of the space with the design of a kitchenette for serving coffee to my patients. She took care of every aspect of the coordination with the painters, electricians, and building management. The window was covered with shades which she uncovered to expose a wonderful garden view of the courtyard. She transformed the space with simple carpentry installations and accent painting. We collaborated on the art selections. I was able to find an artist that related so perfectly with the finishes it was hard to tell which came first, the painting or the decoration. I enjoy coming to my practice each day and I especially appreciate that my patients feel an inherent sense of calm from the surroundings. I highly recommend the design services of Kim Depole, especially if your goal is for a design that is both elegant, functional and simply beautiful. Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with - she truly listened to my wants and needs and was very professional and resourceful.

I met Kim when she was on Oprah.She came and magically and beautifully transformed my Fort Lee Apartment. I recently recalled her to refreshen my apartment and she worked her magic again and was such a pleasure to collaborate with on every detail!!

Kim of KDD upon initial consultation came up with modern and effective solutions for my limited space project. She also repurposed some structures to make best use of materials that were in fact usable. Her expetise and keen design sense transformed a cramped area into a productive and estetically beautiful living room with a work area. Love it, love her.

Kim is fabulous. In our first meeting, she totally changed & improved my apartment by just moving around furniture (and she's more than willing to grab one side of the couch). We're now working on my living room and bedroom and all her suggestions have been spot on. We went to a great consignment store in Chelsea and she found me the perfect chandelier. Not out in the open, but buried on a top shelf. I never would have even spotted it. And passed along her full discount. It looks like it's original to my 1915 apt. She also found me the perfect young, efficient contractor for painting, wallpapering & installations - very reasonably priced. My jobs have been small, but Kim has treated me as if I was doing a $250k redesign . Great eye, lovely personality & a great sense of humor. I can't recommend her highly enough.

It was a pleasure working with Kim Depole. She had excellent interior design solutions for my small condo in Harlem. She helped me tremendously with furniture layout and selection and paint colors. I recommend her highly and would work with her again.
