Kimberly Painting

I called Kimberly painting for a quote on changing my house color and cleaning up trim. Mark was super responsive to my emails and was able to answer questions without missing a beat. They replaced quite a bit of rotten wood, even at the highest chimney point. The men cam out to to the work were super nice and professional. I would certainly hire this company again. Every detail was taken care, even things I missed myself.

I was extremely impressed with Kimberly Painting, their professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness and ability to provide guidance and suggestions for what would look best in my home. I very much appreciated being able to talk directly with the owner of the company and that he insured his team delivered beyond expectations.

Heed my warning--do not hire them. I hired Kimberly Painting to paint the exterior of my house a few weeks ago. On the scheduled start date, a two-man paint crew arrived to start the job. They began to prep the house and started to pressure wash, when about an hour into the pressure washing, the unit stopped working on them. So they left without telling me what was going on and I didn’t see them the rest of the day. Then the next day they came back to work on pressure washing, and they got their machine to run again for about a half hour before it died again. However, they TOLD me that they had finish pressure washing the entire house. After they left, I reviewed their work and I was extremely displeased with the very poor quality job they had done pressure washing the house. In my opinion, getting the house cleaned is the key to a good paint job, and they had completely missed 1/3 of my house! In an attempt to remedy the situation I called office, explaining the situation and complained. I also called the project manager, Doug Smith. I did not get a return call from project manager, nor did he come to the house to see and discuss my concerns! Mind you, he had been ever present with his phone calls and coming to my house when he was trying to get my business. The day after I called the office the paint crew didn’t show up for work at all that day! So, I called back into the office and fired them. Overall, I was very displeased with the communication from this company-- from the job supervisor being a no show, to the two-man crew telling lies about completed work. I can’t understand if you have a problem with a company, then you call and complain why the things can’t get fixed right the second time! Definitely a problem in the company, and I, for one, will not be using!

We used Kimberly Painting to remove wallpaper in several rooms and repaint several rooms before moving into our new home. The price was competitive and the work was completed above our expectations. They even made a few minor repairs that weren't initially discussed because they felt it was necessary to do the job right.
