Disciplined Design

We purchased a new construction home last November as our family has grown and we were running out of space. We selected the same plan as the model home. Disciplined Designs made our house look better than the model home. We appreciate that the look Kim created was totally personalized to us which really makes our décor unique. Kim helped make our new home something that we just don’t want to live in, but also show off. Kim used a versatile color scheme with bold accents that were on par with a spread you would see in an interior designer magazine. Although we were reserved with the color scheme at first, it all blended together and complimented each other so well. She provided the contemporary look we requested while retaining some traditional style. She created an eclectic look by seamlessly blending modern touches with some conventional pieces. We are especially pleased with the couch Kim selected for us. She got it right on the first try and was exactly what was in my mind's eye. Not only did the it look great but it was also very durable and functional, which fits perfectly with our two kids and dogs. Another thing we loved was that she refinished and reused some existing antique furniture we had. We’re all for up-cycling and it definitely helped with our budget. She was also able to have some of our new furniture modified out of the box, which allowed some pieces in our set to be expanded to different rooms, creating some nice aesthetic transitions. She obviously has a solid local network and access to national suppliers for her stock, which allowed us to take advantage of her discounts and resources. Kim always provided copies of receipts and handled returns of the unwanted decor painlessly and was very friendly and professional. She kept everything on time with respect to our schedule and remained on budget. We have recommended Disciplined Designs to several of my family and friends already and continue to do so. We also used Kim to stage the home we were selling before we moved. It sold within a week and I’m positive Kim’s vision, style and experience contributed significantly to our blow-out showing. We highly recommend Disciplined Designs and Kim for any room or house redecorating that you need. We will definitely hire her the next time we need design or staging.

Kim has the magic touch. I have seen both her staging and design work. I met her through another realtor friend that was having difficulty getting a perfectly great home to sell. She is very budget conscience yet chooses things of great quality. Our home reflects our personality yet looks magazine ready and is completely functional for our family of three boys and two dogs. Kimberly has done several staging projects for us to help us get homes sold. Her design sense and timely work gets the job done. I swear just thinking about staging a house sometimes makes it sell. The thing I really like is she will ask the questions so she can identify the most likely buyer and customize the look so they can really see themselves in a property. It's not just a one size fits all approach. Her service is a very important business tool for us to get homes sold.

I can't say enough about Kim and her team. I was trying to sell my condo from several states away. She kept me in the loop through the whole process with pictures, texts, and calls. I felt like I knew everything that was going on. Her team was SUPER FAST! In my line of work we say "Do you want quality? or do you want it quick?", Disciplined Design does both. I have no doubt my place sold due to their staging. After a month on the market we were under contract and the new owner was a couple who came to an open house right after Kim's team finished the job. The pictures taken really brought the potential buyers in (especially since this was in the dead of winter). Disciplined Design has staged a number of homes for me over the past year and do absolutely phenomenal work. They have a great eye for decorating and always make each home's best features shine, while doing a great job of distracting the buyers attention from any deficiencies the property might have. One thing I particularly like about them is the flexibility to work around my schedule and that they're always quick to get things in and out of the homes, when needed.
