This was the second time I worked with Kelley. The first was on an entire redesign of my small apartment. This time Kelley helped me gut a very small bathroom. It was a basic apartment bathroom in a corner unit, so there was only enough room for a tub, toilet, and vanity. But Kelley, who is a wonderful listener, transformed it into a beautiful spa-like space. She spent a lot of time shopping with me, and comparing tiles and colors. Finally, bye-bye went the tub, replaced by a glass partitioned rainshower area. The glass panel made the room feel much larger. The creative tile work she recommended looked beautiful. She even designed an unusual floor tile pattern that looked like a rug--since the space was almost too small for a bathmat. And new cut-in cubby spaces made use of the blank space behind the wall, creating new storage. I still can't decide which room of my apartment that I love the most, due to all the great--and budget-oriented--ideas Kelley provided!

Kelley is AMAZING! Her knowledge of color is unbelievable! We reached out to her after a disastrous panting experience where we were left with a terrible paint job and an unflattering color choice. She worked with us to find a color that enhanced our decor and included us in the process without making us feel inferior. I have had the pleasure of working with Kelley for several years. She is a talented designer whose clients love working with her as she makes the whole process enjoyable and fun. We worked with Kelley on a redesign of our Family Room using Ethan Allen's new Disney collection. She helped the changes work in conjunction with our kitchen and sunroom. We are thrilled with the results and the furniture makes us smile every day. I love that we never felt any pressure to purchase items.

My husband and I fully renovated our home in 2016. As such we were in need of updated furniture. Kelley Vanderforest designed the layout and chose furniture pieces for four different rooms in our home. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Kelley. She listened to my many needs (budget, kid-friendly, neutral colors, etc) and took into consideration not only the things I verbally communicated but also the images that appealed to my design sense. Along the way, Kelley offered several fabric options and worked diligently to find pieces, patterns and colors that fit my style and budget. She was in constant communication via email -- often sending alternative furniture pieces and/or color options after hours. Kelley took a vested interest in my home, and we are beyond pleased with how the pieces and colors of each room cohesively came together. She is the perfect mix of listener and designer, and I would absolutely recommend her to others seeking design expertise.

Kelley has done design work for me for several years. She is excellent at what she does. She has a gift for finding the right colors, furniture and accessories to finish a room. She has designed several rooms in my house as well as several friends of mine. She recently sent me paint samples and accessory ideas for my entryway. I finished it yesterday and it's beautiful!! The color she chose was perfect. I only call Kelley when I'm ready to redecorate.
