Kathy Geffen Design

I hired Kathy to alter 4 ready made drapery panels purchased from Ballard Designs. She added banding to them and put in euro style pleats. She also helped me select drapery rods that would suit my style. Kathy worked with my budget to create a semi-custom look which I am so pleased with! She is a fun to work with, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend!

Kathy helped us design and build roman shades and drapes for our living room and dining room. Going into the project, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. Kathy was so helpful and patient coming up with a design plan. She even showed us renderings of the space to help us with decision making. The space was challenging because of overheads that hold our duct work. Kathy came up with a great solution to help hide that the window was cut off by the overhead. Kathy's workmanship is impeccable. We receive tons of compliments on the finished blinds and drapes. I would not hesitate to use her again.

Kathy, upholstered our baby glider that will be reused for our third child. New fabric with great input from Kathy has totally refreshed our nursery! From sage green to gray with pink piping!

Kathy Geffen is fantastic! She was very responsive and called me the same day I reached out to her. She explained the whole process of having slipcovers made and took time to answer all my questions. She is very kind and personable and flexible. My old couch and 2 club chairs came out looking like new! I would highly recommend her for any of your slipcover needs.

Kathy does beautiful work. She has great ideas. She made window treatments for the master bedroom and bathroom, a bathtub curtain and some tablecloths. The work was completed as promised on schedule.

I reached out to Kathy Geffen Design to reupholster a window seat cushion in my living room and listening to her expert advise, we ended doing some additional custom pillows to accent the space. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! The bolster pillows she suggested take the window seat to a whole new level of coziness and elegance. We also did 4 accent pillows for the couch and 2 chairs in the living room. The fabric selections she offers are beautiful and I was able to find something that perfectly complemented my style. Kathy Geffen Design is the BEST! Kathy did a beautiful job recovering an ottoman and chair cushion and "jazzed up" some current pillows with colorful fringe and decorative buttons which gave the pillows a completely new and fabulous look. She was great to work with and I highly recommend her! I can't wait to find another project for her!

Our experience with Kathy Geffen Design was wonderful from beginning to end. Working around my busy schedule, they helped me determine the the right style window treatment for the room and guided me through fabric selections. I had Kathy Geffen Designs make slip covers for 2 of my family room chairs. The chairs had been shredded by my cats and looked awful. Kathy was very easy to work with and the slip covers look great! I have to explain to people that it is a slip cover and that I didn't get the chairs reupholstered- the slip covers fit so perfectly! Certainly took the chairs from looking awful to looking new!
