I was wanting to completely redo my study. I was looking to transform it from a traditional dark stuffy space with wooden shelves, a heavy wooden desk and leather chairs to a BEAUTIFUL light clean study/workout space with a white marble desk top, white shelves and cabinets that included my Peloton bike and a mirrored wall. I envisioned my new space feeling bright and happy when entered. Kathe Baker was the perfect person to make this happen. She was great to work with from day 1. She listened to what I was wanting and far exceeded my expectations. She was constantly bringing fun pieces for us to try (a fun French chandelier, a great Zebra print chair, a beautiful abstract painting of a sweet girl doing yoga....and so much more). She and the workers she brought in to my home were professional and very hard working. My appreciation for Kathe’s abilities as a decorator were only exceeded by my enjoyment of her as an amazing, kind, thoughtful and generous friend. Kathe has a great energy and as a result my new study/workout room does too!!!

I have had the privilege to work with Kathe on my personal home and also with properties I have on the market to sell. Kathe continues to amaze me with her eye for design and professionalism. We just completed a condo that was going on the market and she worked with the builder selecting all the finishes and also the layout and furnishings. The home is stunning and as I knew it would be the home is already sold. She is amazing!!!

As a single adult professional just moving to Houston I needed help preparing my new home and was lucky enough to find Kathe on Houzz. Kathe and I met on location for a discussion on my vision. I wanted a home with modern styling appropriate for entertaining yet warm and welcoming enough to receive my children during their visits. Kathe was able to take this abstract concept and deliver an outstanding finished product, in about ten days nonetheless! Kathe was a pleasure to work with both personally and professionally and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking professional design and decorating services.

Kathe has a wonderful sense of style and was great fun to work with. She helped us line up contractors and supervised their work when we were unable to be on-site. She procured one-of-a-kind furnishings that blended beautifully with our style and had excellent retail and industry sources. Her trouble-shooting has been professional and helpful. We highly recommend working with her and look forward to our next project.

Kathe is beyond professional and exceeded my expectations. She was hired to decorate our new home, and starting from scratch with a new design palette she created the perfect finished product. Moving from ranch style to a more French country feel, each piece she selected not only fit my design preference, but my husband loved the new feel of our new home as well. I can't recommend using this amazing and talented team enough!!!!

kathe did an amazing job redecorating our large sorority house! she was able to save money by repurposing some of the furniture we already had. she was able to update the look but still keep the traditional decor the older home needed. i whole-heartedly recommend feathering the nest!

Kathe Baker of Feathering The Nest worked with my husband and me for a year as we remodeled and added square footage to an older home we bought. Since we completely gutted the house, Kathe helped us with every decision we made to refurbish the house and make it a beautiful home. Since Kathe is a visionary, she was great at helping us make it flow from one room to another, making it beautiful as well as functional. We absolutely love what she did and would use her again.
