It's always a pleasure to work with the Kitchen and Bath Design Store. We've partnered with them for almost ten years and they are very efficient and complete fantastic projects. They are extremely helpful and thoughtful. We appreciate our partnership and their loyalty.

A whirlpool fiberglass tub and single person shower surround was removed. The owner, Bill Severance, replaced the tub with a beautiful, large ceramic shower with a glass wall and door. All the tile work is fine quality craftsmanship. The shower head, faucets, hand-held shower and grab bar are of the very best quality. In the space where the old shower stood, a large cabinet with slide-out shelves was installed. Bill is meticulous in keeping the work area clean which we appreciated. My husband and I are very pleased with the end result and highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Design Store for any of your building/remodeling needs.

My common bath remodel is absolutely gorgeous! Bill is a consummate professional with a keen eye for design and he is perfectionist for quality. He provided valuable design suggestions which I incorporated such as adding heated tile floors ( I was skeptical at first but am loving them now in the Chicago winter!), running the accent tile in the shower through the inset shelf, and changing my vanity configuration to "bump out" the center cabinet between the two sinks. He is very organized and sensitive to the timeline - having me select and order all materials prior to the start of the job. The materials are top quality with a great selection. I was also impressed by the attention to detail in the installation and how they cleaned up the job site every day before leaving as if no work had happened that day! He kept me apprised of the status of the project at all times and was quick to let me know of any potential roadblocks with proposed solutions. I will continue to send all of my business to him ... well worth the money and peace of mind!

Bill is the best at whatever job you contract him for. He can construct anything to perfection. Every time we need anything remodeled we always have him back. Over the last 10 years he has remodeled our kitchen, master bath, our downstairs bar, our 2nd bath, our laundry room, added a wall of cabinets in our bedroom, even refaced some cabinets. His work is done to perfection. We are having him back to replace several windows in the fall. I have had others bid jobs over the years and always go back to Bill Severance of the Kitchen and Bath Store. He is outstanding. If you are considering him you can't go wrong. I have hired Bill on multiple occasions over the past 15 years. He has remodeled my kitchen (which still after 10 years gets praise from visitors for its timeless beauty), install flooring (heated tile, tile, and hardwood), add a deck with arbor, install a tankless hot water heater, add new windows, siding and wrap, put in a stone fireplace, and countless other projects. I have often gotten estimates from others, and Bill's costs are in line with his competitors. Additionally, I always trust him to do a superior quality job. We couldn't be happier with Bill's work. When we first had him in for an estimate on moving the washer/dryer to the first floor he was the only contractor that actually measured, made notes and eyeballed everything to determine the scope of the project. Bill provided a detailed and comprehensive project estimate proving his level of professionalism. Although we put that project on hold we knew he was the right contractor for our kitchen and both bathroom renovations we eventually hired him for.

We hired Bill to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom. He provided us with a very fair and competitive estimate. When we met to sign the contract, Bill explained everything thoroughly and took the time to answer any questions about the job. He also took care of all the permits and inspections required from our village. Bill removed our tub and made it into a walk-in shower with ceramic tile from floor to ceiling. New plumbing was installed--- a new floor, toilet, a granite top vanity, medicine cabinet, painting....the works! We couldn't believe our ugly little bathroom was transformed into a room that could be shown in a magazine! We were very comfortable having Bill work in our home while we were at our jobs. He was there when he promised each day and finished within a few days of his original time frame....and only because of an item being on backorder.
