We asked Jason to build a custom gas fireplace built into our existing porch and we were pleased with his design. Fred collaborated with us during the construction process, making several suggestions to improve upon our original ideas - all of which we implemented. The end result was better than our original concept. The crew was very professional and tidy, keeping the work areas contained and cleaning up at the end of each day. We employed Kenneth Watson Design to replace our deck with a patio. The design was really nice, two linking circular shapes one higher than the other to create a 2-tiered space with columns and seating walls for a fire table. It even has lights! They had a tough time with the weather as it was the end of the polar vortex winter so the ground remained frozen much later than normal. Despite the weather they did a wonderful job of the patio. It looks great! we love it and use it all the time. They also did some contouring of the back yard for us as it didn't slope correctly and therefore didn't drain too well. This was done by bringing in a load more top-soil. Unfortunately the bad Spring weather had put them behind with other customers so we had to wait a long time for them to come back to do this work and when they did I think it may have been done in a bit of a rush as it wasn't rolled or tamped-down and therefore moved around a lot when the heavy fall rains came. It ended up very uneven and full of pot-holes so the grass also didn't take that well. I would definitely recommend them for hard-scaping but would maybe think about about employing a specialist gardening company for the green landscaping.

We were looking for a new stone patio with built in outdoor grill with a cedar pergola to shelter the grill from rain and snow. We also worked with Jason on a design with old English stones to make it an interesting look. The home has an in ground pool, so we replaced the brick pavers around the pool with the same stone as the patio. This was our 3rd year of using the patio and my husband loves the fact he can grill all year around. We love the patio and would recommend Kenneth Watson Design's to anyone.

Kenneth Watson Design designed, installed, and landscaped our backyard patio & exterior lighting. The entire process exceeded my expectations. I've recommend KWD to many friends and they have also been very pleased. KWD is very good at following up and customer service.

We had a fire pit and surrounding wall with seating installed. Work was done in a timely manner even with the in-climate weather. They cleaned up the work site and left it very clean. We must say Jason was slow to get back with us for an appointment but was worth wait, he had some great ideas and suggestions for the project.

We used Kenneth Watson to design our outdoor living area. Jason listened to our wish list, and designed a outdoor living space that is gorgeous, timeless and relaxing. The crew was articulate, professional, and are experts in their craft. Our family is thrilled with the space and look forward to many relaxing events in the future. We have a hundred and eighty foot cement drive, a straight boaring sidewalk across the front of the house, from driveway to front door. The house sits up and so the planting area around the house is sloped at an 8% grade to the yard. Jason came in, analyzed what we have, queried what we wanted and formulated a design. We liked the plan, we liked Jason and so we hired him. In a short period of time we were picking out material and the install date was set. He took a plain boaring drive and walk and turned it into a work of art, the finishing touch was a retaining wall with tasteful accent lighting and an unground water scape.

Hired to design and install a patio with fire pit. Did a great job of incorporating our desired features within our budget. Finish product was a brick patio with a nice size fire pit, partially surrounded by a "seating" wall, and accent lighting.

Jason at Kenneth Watson Design worked with us on the design and consideration of various options for our back yard hard-scape. The yard is not big, so we wanted to explore as many options as we could with our size limitations. Together we came up with a great looking knee wall, column and grilling station that gets lots of compliments. The work was done professionally and we even added some electrical outlets for lighting and future accessory options. It was not inexpensive - but I believe you get what you pay for - Quality. And Jason did help us pick a limestone and faux stacked stone option that ended up being slightly less expensive then our original material choices and it still looks great. The limestone top on the knee wall and column added a real timeless look.

We used Kenneth Watson Design to demo an existing deck & replace it with a paver patio. Jason Watson was nothing short of amazing from the planning stages through the finished product. His design met our wish and need list perfectly and his materials have been beautiful, as well as durable. He still remains accessible, even a year later, for any questions or advice we have about maintaining our investment. Kenneth Watson helped us to design a back patio and front walkway. In the backyard they removed a cement patio, steps, and a inground pool, filled in and recontoured the yard. They installed a paver patio with wall and step. A raised bed and planted 3 pine trees. Planted 2 birch trees in seperate areas. Made 3 additional flower bed around the patio area. Lights were placed in the steps at the patio door, in the wall and under each of the new trees. A flagstone walkway from patio to the driveway. In the front yard, they removed a cement walkway and steps. Then a paver walkway, wall and new steps with lights were installed. We are very pleased with their work and professional knowledge. The work was done according to a time table they gave us. They helped us design a yard that were was very happy with. They all showed up to work on time , were very thoughtful and friendly.

Kenneth Watson Design has done a couple of projects for our family. Our first experience was with building an architectural feature in our backyard to provide us privacy from our backyard neighbors. We aren't allowed to have privacy fences per our HOA, so we worked with Jason to design elements that would incorporate landscaping trees and plants as well as privacy panels to create just that. They turned out beautiful and they created just what we needed. Our second project was completing our unfinished basement this past winter. We knew from previous experience that Kenneth Watson Design would draw up great plans and perform the work to perfection, but one additional thing was the extra steps and thought they took to minimally disrupt our daily lives while working on the basement for the few months it took to complete. They went out of their way to minimize the mess that comes with construction in an already established area. They also were extremely creative in creating a custom bar from a vision of my husband. I can not say enough great things about the professionalism and the creativity behind those at Kenneth Watson Design. They work with you until they get it right (which is usually the first go at it) and become like family when working to create the vision you have in mind!!
