Juleen provided a wonderful bedroom suite addition (465 sq.ft) design for my wife and I. Juleen completed the design soley based on information in pictures, videos, and written design specs.

My husband and I bought a 1908 farmhouse downtown Sumner last spring. We were very excited about the home but also very nervous about remodeling and decorating. So we asked Juleen and Chris for help and it was the best decision we could have made. Juleen designed a beautiful upstairs remodel design that we are anxious to begin. Chris ordered amazing window treatments for my living room and tv room. It absolutely changed the whole appearance of both rooms. Both ladies have been a tremendous help with our kitchen remodel, including ordering gorgeous light fixtures that go with the style and time period of the home. They are also coming up with a new living room design which includes the fireplace. I can go on, but most importantly, these two ladies have become our friends and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help and advice on their home.

Juleen and Christine arrived at my home and provided insight and recommendations that saved me time, effort and I imagine energy. They were easy to talk with and straight forward. I will be using them more for this project!!!

Northlight Interiors provided us with detailed drawings for a wall removal between kitchen and living room, and the addition of a fireplace built-in in our living room. The drawings encompassed everything needed to clearly communicate to our contractor our vision. Working with Norhtlight Interiors was great! Communication was clear and the project was completed promptly. They even helped us quickly determine the scope of our project with our prospective budget. A great experience!

Hiring Northlight Interiors to design our living room was one of the best decisions we made! Expressing our love for the view of our new home, they captured all aspects of the room and made the space beautiful and inviting. We loved EVERYTHING they recommended and designed and splurged on it all. I have to say if we left out even a few pieces it would have been a big mistake and the room wouldn’t have been complete. We put our trust in their hands and we are so overly thankful that we did. Our guests are blown away when they walk in the room. the biggest hit are the swivel chairs looking out at the view and the magnificent Chandelier, which is the focal point of the room. They have amazing style, completely professional and gave our room 100% transformation.

The talented ladies of Northlight Interiors helped us select colors and textures for our little lake home. We had very specific desires and they designed something better than we could have imagined within our budget. I highly recommend them for their design knowledge, experience, and professionalism.

The designers came to our condo in Oct of 2015. We had a large area rug with colors I wanted incorporated into new furniture. We were leaving for our winter home and told them that we had the time for them to select and have furniture held until our return in June. They showed us fabric samples, table and lamp samples. We approved all including the leather recliner that we had not even sat in. They came thru in flying colors! The furniture and tables and lamps were all in place when we returned home. These ladies are amazing. They know their fabrics, colors and style you want. Love them!!

I cannot begin to describe how vital Juleen and Chris's vision was to the outcome of our kitchen. When Juleen came in for the first walk through, she started looking at how we could change the layout of our kitchen in order to suit the needs of our family. She looked at the original architecture of our home (she was able to see past the 1960s update) and turned our kitchen into the kitchen of our dreams. She modernized our kitchen while still respecting the integrity of our Victorian home....not an easy task! She looked at the original placement of the windows and saw how we could bring back some of the original 1800s charm to our homestead. Goodbye to the three 1960s aluminum windows...hello to the 5 large open windows that let in natural light. The cabinet layout is both gorgeous and functional. She thought not only of the appearance and design of the cabinets, but also the insides (where our drawers should have pegs, the height of the drawers to ensure greatest usage, which should have glass fronts). Northlight Interiors worked seamlessly with our builder (Kingdom Builders LLC) and communicated directly with them when needed so that I was not a middle man. We were able to hand our contractor and cabinet maker the plans Juleen and Chris meticulously created and they were able to execute them perfectly. No questions needed because of the details they thought of and documented. Juleen and Chris listened to my husband and my vision and were able to make EVERYTHING become a reality. We cannot wait to work with them for the remodel of our bathrooms!!! What was accomplished: Complete overhaul of our kitchen and laundry room -new layout -larger opening to the dining room -new window placement and windows -new door to porch -completely new design -functionality of kitchen

We are very pleased with the transformation of our living room. The room was hardly ever used and it lacked style and comfort. We were at a loss on what to do with the room. The best decision was setting up a consultation with Northlight Interiors. The room now has great style and makes a statement when you walk in. They were so easy and professional to work with. Northlight Interiors helped me develop a plan to redo my family room. We are completing the project in phases and I absolutely love PHASE ONE. The sectional sofa that fits into a unique space looks fantastic with the color new scheme throw pillows but most importantly is so very comfortable. The mirror and picture update the room creating a mature setting. I can't wait to begin PHASE TWO. Here I come ladies!

Northlight Interiors were hired by a client of ours on a historic home in Sumner, WA. Juleen's designs are beautiful! She did a wonderful job adding new life and comforts while preserving the historic aspects of this home! Her knowledge of construction made it easy to bring what was drawn on paper to life. I hired Juleen and Chris to do the interior design work in my new office space in 2012. Their work was fantastic and I am still getting compliments 3 years later from my clients! I liked their work so much that I have now hired them for some design work at my home. We are at the beginning stages of that project now and I am loving their ideas. Juleen and Christine did an amazing job for my out of state home remodel. All the furniture arrived in a timely fashion and the sizes and shapes all fit perfectly in our home. The color palate was perfect. They also completed my husbands office with a very professional look which made our employees feel welcome in that environment. They work well as a team and are very sensitive to the customers needs at all times. They aim to please.

She ordered a custom desk and chair, and was thoughtful and appreciative throughout the entire process - she even shared an image of the pieces on her professional Facebook page when they arrived. I visited their shop and was very impressed with their decor. They were helpful in answering my design questions. Although I didn't have a direct need to hire them for a project, they were very kind in helping me complete a project already in the works. And I was very inspired by what I saw in their shop. I actually went home and painted my fireplace and also added the pillow that I bought in their shop. They are talented and gracious.

The designers at Northlight Interiors created an exceptional design that fit both the stye of our home, and the style that we desired. They turned an old 80's yellow oak style home into an updated cabin/ski lodge style home. We added french doors, wood flooring, a stone fireplace, a new staircase and entry way as well as a complete new furniture design. We consistently receive compliments on how beautiful our home is.

This is our second time using Northlight Interiors. The first time we used them, they did a complete makeover in our living room. They updated our entire room: a beautiful fireplace, gorgeous lightning, comfy furniture, while making the furniture arrangements and suggestions for color schemes. They didn't miss a detail. We were THRILLED with the results. We then moved to our bedroom a year later. We met with them. Again working within the budget, they developed a spa-like place I can relax and be proud of from the beautiful furniture to the lightning to the comfortably bedding. These women are organized, knowledgeable and very helpful. I almost couldn’t even give them more than a grunt and point, but they took my house and made it a real showplace. Now I really love to entertain in my home! I was amazed when they took our discussions and made them into a painting showing how everything would look after it was done. I loved it and cherish the painting (I have it prominently displayed in the main room for all my guests to see).
