Design Details Unlimited

Judi Guy worked with us from the beginning of the planning process of our home to the finished product, incorporating some existing treasures with new furnishings - she assisted me in color selection of interior finishes, art, and accessories. We feel our home is warm and the finishes timeless.

Several years ago I lived in a golf community in Dublin, OH (Muirfield Village). While there I learned of Design Details Unlimited and Judi Guy. She designed and coordinated the complete redesign of every room in the house. She managed the entire project including using her cabinet maker who built a beautiful lacquer wall unit and a second unit in another room for the audio/tv unit that was greater than 10 ft tall. She chose the furniture and art work for every room in the house. She completed the job on time, within budget that was developed over time. The completed project was spectacular. I moved out of town for approximately 10 years. Recently I returned to Columbus and purchased an older home (built in 1932). On the first floor there is an extremely small bathroom that has vintage turquoise sink, toilet and tub. It also has an odd sized den/family room with uneven walls and cracks along the ceiling. Fortunately a short time ago I was able to reconnect with JUDI GUY of Design Details Unlimited. What a relief. She had some time available for me. She visited the house several times and presented a few different designs and helped me choose the furniture, paint, etc. She designed a new bathroom then had her carpenter contacts, cabinet maker, drywall people, painters quote the price for a remodel of the two rooms. That settled there were funds available to have a gas fireplace installed in a wall unit Judi designed. I am looking forward to the completed living areas. It is a pleasure to once again work with her.

Designer, Judi Guy has worked with us on two houses. She guided our kitchen renovation in an older home in Michigan which turned out to be spectacular. One attorney/MD friend from Oregon deemed it the most beautiful kitchen and home he had ever seen. When we moved to Florida into our present home, Judi assisted us with builder choices with which we have been extremely pleased. Our home has many family antiques. We appreciate that Judi was willing to work with them to create a look that is comfortable yet refreshing. Judi is skilled and pleasant. She responds quickly to phone calls and e-mails which we greatly appreciate. We particularly like that Judi is cost-conscious and willing to work within a budget. Judi Guy, Design Details, has been my designer for 30 years. She helped when I built my first house, a 1200 SQ Ft addition to that home and my condo in 2005. She has a unique skills in putting together the right colors, art, furniture and more to make my home not only unique to me but so liveable!
