We cannot thank Gallagher Construction enough for the work they did on our house and their professionalism. When our home was in shambles they put our minds at ease. We knew what was going on every step of the way We never had any worries as the communicated very thoroughly. There were no surprises, only honesty within their word and work. We will recommend Gallagher Construction to anyone and everyone looking for work to be done and if and when we ever have any other projects we know exactly who we will call! Thank you!

My wife and i had purchased a small farragut cottage in Bayview Idaho about 3 years ago. The Gallagher's designed us a remodel and addition that maintained the character of the original cottage but with a little more space and well thought out layout. Dan, Jack and Ryan Gallagher were all very easy to work with. Excellent communication with the schedule. Subs were polite and punctual. The Gallagher's listened to our ideas and they put forth theirs without pressure. We ended up with the best of both. There estimate of timeline was accurate. The project was very extensive requiring demo all the way to subfloor. The Gallaghers handled the demo as well as the finish work (trim, doors etc) Very detail oriented and they were proactive to take care of details so there was no punch list. We get a lot of compliments on the way the project turned out.

I had wind storm damage to my garage and laundry room. Jack and his team assessed the damages and contacted my insurance company immediately. Hiring Gallagher Construction was the best decision I could have made. They not only repaired my home, they improved it. My experience with them doesn't stop at satisfied workmanship. Jack was tenacious in dealing with my insurance adjuster and agent. He helped me navigate what seemed to be a daunting ordeal. I am very satisfied and thankful for hiring Gallagher Construction.

I recently hired Gallagher Construction to add a patio cover extension onto my back patio to help block the heat from the sun into my master bedroom. They immediately scheduled a site visit to understand my request, and to review my existing patio cover that was built when my home was completed in 2021. We discussed materials, as I wanted the extension to look exactly like my existing cover. On the next visit, they took precise measurements, location of the support post, which was moved so as not to block the view of my backyard from the large picture window in the bedroom. They even took the time to measure out and place a temporary post so I could visualize the placement of the post, which I approved. Shortly thereafter, the work began and they carefully removed the rocks in my planting bed, and dug the hole for their footing for the post. After they poured the cement, they covered the area to protect it from the snow, while the cement cured. When the weather finally permitted (I live in North Idaho & the work began in the late fall/early winter) they were finally able to get back and begin the bulk of the project. Their framers were AWESOME, and fast! The roofers were AWESOME! And, at every, every single step, Dan, who oversaw the project, was right there, going over the tiniest of details with me, making sure that every little detail was EXACTLY as I wanted! From the post placement & size of the post, to the finished ceiling on the underside of the patio cover, to the flashing placement next to where the new cover abutted to my existing siding, and where the new cover butted up next to the existing patio cover, to the painting of the ceiling, to the stain color on the post and fascia boards, and even the size & shape of the cedar corbals that matched the ones on my existing patio, to the stones on the base of the pillar, to the paint color on the bolts on the post & corbals, every detail was covered!!! And, at each step of this process, they made sure that all leftover materials and debris was cleaned up, so that one could hardly believe that any construction project was taking place! The completed patio cover extension is so amazing, & matches my existing cover exactly, that you would think that it was part of the original home construction! I cannot say enough how much I appreciated their communication with me at every step, and how much I appreciated their concern that I was happy with every detail of this project. Dan, Jack & Ryan made me feel that I was part of their family and they truly cared that I was happy with the work that they did. In fact, I was so happy with them, and their work, that I have hired them to do two other projects at my home!! I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Gallagher Construction to anyone needing any type of remodel, large or small, you will not be disappointed!!

We hired Gallagher construction to add an addition to our home in Hauser Lake Idaho. Our addition added 14 feet to the front of our home. This gave us a new kitchen, walk in closet, very spacious master bathroom and a covered breezeway to our detached garage. All I can say is how many people can say they consider there contractors part of the family when the project is finished. If your thinking of hiring these amazing guys, we highly recommend you give them the opportunity.

The Gallaghers did a wonderful job on our bathroom additions. The workmanship was excellent, they meet their deadlines, was very accommodating to our needs at the time, and we were very impressed with the ideas they were able come up with in order to utilize the existing space into some we are still very happy with. I would highly recommend them anytime. It was my pleasure to work with this company.

These guys are an A number 1 first rate contractor! They did what we agreed on and "on time". And, to top it off, they are GREAT GUYS !!!

We own a 1962 mid century ranch that is about 80% original. We love the time period so when it came to discussing the bathroom remodel with Gallagher Construction, we let them know that we wanted a remodel that respected the style and time period of the house. Ryan Gallagher made sure that wasn't going to be an issue. In fact, their project manager, Justin Gallagher, was absolutely great to work with. I was very picky about the "retro" look of the house and Justin made sure I was happy with the materials and design. They are all very professional and excellent communicators. I highly recommend.

We are so thankful for J.P. Gallagher. We contacted them after water damaged required a complete gut of our master bathroom. They were wonderful through the whole process and were very considerate of our time, space and needs. Excellent communication, exceptional work ethic and product. We couldn’t be happier. Justin, AJ and Sean were all fantastic!! I think my kiddos and the dog will be disappointed to not have them around! Kudos to an amazing job well done. Our new master bath is exactly how I pictured it/wanted and I’m thrilled with the spa-like feeling. Truly a luxurious space that I’m blessed to call home and can’t wait to start using. We’ll definitely use J.P. Gallagher for our future construction needs.

I thought that I needed my subfloor replaced. Jack came over took some measurements and I told him what I wanted and why. His bid was very reasonable but when the crew got here we started talking again. Long story short after starting on the floor it was clear to them that everything I thought needed to be done did not. I never would have known instead of just running with it, being dishonest, and pulling one over my head, the crew had a talk with me. They would still do it if I wanted but if I didn't this is what is done in these situations. A day and a half project turned into 7ish hours and less than a hour after the job was completed I have an invoice for the new total/hours. Substantially less the the big projected I thought that I needed. The crew doing the work did their absolute best to make sure no damage was done to my house in anyway, they had incredible dust abatement, and when they were done and cleaning up they left the bedroom and the upstairs hallway in better condition then when when they got there. Plus, I would over hear their conversations and I got such a kick out of the old pop culture references. Very trustworthy bunch, 100% recommend, will be using again for other projects.

When our dishwasher failed recently and flooded our kitchen, we did not know who to call for repairs. Our insurance agent gave us a few suggestions and we chose J.P. Gallagher. We had no idea where to start and what choices would be in our best interest. J.P. Gallagher guided us through all the available options and still remain within our budget. Without their expert advice we would not have had such an incredible result. ALL of their employees were extremely professional and their workmanship beyond expectations. What had started out as a nightmare turned into a dream beyond dreams. Our new kitchen is positively gorgeous. Hiring J.P. Gallagher was the BEST decision we made. He will be the first person we call if we ever (again) have need of an expert contractor.
