We built our house with Orendorf Custom Homes. Joe Orendorf did an outstanding job for us and built us a very beautiful, comfortable and highly functional home. He assisted us with the design, selection process, and kept the project on time with exacting control. Joe offered suggestions to improve our house and those suggestions resulted in an end product we really love. Joe demonstrates a true client focus and is very comfortable and trustworthy. Joe has a great set of sub contractors who care about the quality of work they provide and the end result shows it. Joe quickly established a trusted relationship with us and made the building process comfortable and straightforward. We really enjoyed working with Joe and his experience and expertise resulted in a beautiful home. Joe is honest and tactful and his instinct and recommendations helped us to improve upon our original design ideas. I've worked with Joe for over 13 years. Joe is very knowledgeable in all facets of the construction process, and has a great attention to detail. Joe does a great job in keeping us up to date with the status of his project's which helps in meeting his customer deadlines. When it came time to build our dream house, husband and I went with Orendorf Custom Homes, and it was the best decision we could have made. You often hear that building a house is a stressful prospect but Joe Orendorf told us to hand the worry over to him and enjoy the process and that's exactly what we did. We visited the job site almost every day. Any concerns we had were immediately addressed and Joe allowed us to make some changes along the way. One example--my husband decided after the house was well under way that he was interested in having a heated garage. No problem. Joe had it priced out and once we approved the added cost, it was a go. All of the contractors left the job site very clean and those we spoke with had high praise for Joe and his company. Orendorf Custom Homes replaced a whirlpool tub with a tiled walk-in shower at our lake house. While this was a relatively small job, Joe Orendorf gave it great attention. They kept a clean job site, they completed the work quickly, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations.
