Jon Beer is an organized and thorough contractor. He did a full build-out of our store during the pandemic and did a great job. His skills as a woodworker are especially amazing.

Working with Jon and his team is a pleasure. They are excellent craftsmen, and are highly communicative and professional. The team tore up layers of old kitchen flooring for us, then laid down new tile, created smooth and beautiful transitions into adjoining rooms, installed a new back door, and much more. It was a relief to find a down-to-earth contractor like Jon to work with us through the process. We are really excited to keep working together in the future!

My wife and I hired Jon to remodel our weekend house which was badly in need of a full gut renovation. Throughout the process Jon was easy to work with, responsive and understanding and respectful of our budget. Jon and his team are also excellent craftspeople and really care about how to construct properly so they last. We couldn't have been happier with the end result and will continue to hire Jon and his team for future work.

Jon has done a variety of projects/renovations for me from beautiful built in shelves & drawers, to a rebuilt waterproof tile floor in an arched Queen Anne balcony, to complete gut renovations of multiple rental apartments including plumbing & electrical. He is always a pleasure to work with: professional, skilled, patient & has a great aesthetic vision which many contractors do not. He is also just generally a really nice guy, I recommend him all the time!

We couldn't recommend Jon Beer and his team any higher. From start to finish, Jon was great at communicating each phase of our project and exceeded our expectations in renovating an apartment in our 1836 home. Jon has a great knowledge of historic homes, carpentry & design. They transformed our dark and dingy apartment into a bright, beautiful, & cozy home. We're looking forward to future projects with Jon!

We worked with Jon soon after New York opened up from Covid. Jon was very compliant with safety precautions. On top of that he was very meticulous in setup and cleanup. Jon is extremely talented and creative and worked with us the whole way through, even after we wanted to add the in casements in the middle of the wainscoting project. He took our ideas and improved upon them after spending multiple planning visits to make us comfortable and happy with our choices. Reasonably priced for the amount of detail and precise work and excitement that he puts into his craft. We highly recommend using his company, because we plan o using him again.

Finding and hiring the right contractor can be difficult and stressful. Jon made the process a breeze, and we are so happy with the work he did. We hired Jon to construct built ins, close up walls following HVAC installation, and install an antique saloon door. We needed the work completed on a very tight timeline and Jon made the effort to fit us in, and complete the work on schedule, despite being extremely busy. He responded to our initial inquiry quickly, and was prompt, clean and professional during the project. The built ins are beautiful and we get so many compliments on them. We recommend Jon to anyone looking for a contractor, and we will definitely hire him again for any future projects.

We love our new kitchen and Jon was amazing to work with and his craftsmanship is fantastic. Throughout the whole process he was thorough and clear including the estimate and schedule. We’ve already booked his team to do a second phase and look forward to working with him again soon!

I couldn't be happier with Jon and his team's work restoring our 1850s Carpenter Gothic at Sparrow House NY. From the original design he provided, to his impeccable communication, customer service and attention-to-detail, I can't think of another contractor I'd rather work with. Restoring an older home, I was impressed with his knowledge, skill and creativity in approaching the challenges and quirks an older house presents. He was able to match the house's original charm in a way that far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend and look forward to working with him again on future projects!

Jon is fantastic to work with. He helped us with a kitchen remodel, including custom built-ins (window seat, book shelves, floating shelves). His work is impeccable, and he is so easy to work with, always very collaborative and forthcoming with suggestions for improvements to the design. We get so many compliments on the remodel, I’m always happy to recommend him to anyone.

I'm very pleased with the work that Jon and his team devoted to my interior design shop. He was able to provide a detailed sketch from my general inspiration which immediately set him apart from other contractors. The shop is beautifully built and I look forward to working with him again in the future!
