Since 1988, Riverland Homes has been providing the finest in custom new home and remodel construction, creating many of the most distinctive homes in the Portland area. Riverland has the skill and flexibility to take on projects of all sizes and shapes. Our goal is a successful project and a satisfied customer. Onsite management is done by highly experienced, well paid managers and the company principals. Unlike many other operations, our owners are hands on managers of every project. We do not do a lot of homes but the ones we do result in happy home owners. We define a successful project as a balance of BEAUTY, QUALITY, BUDGET AND TIME. We believe that all components regardless of price should be assembled with the highest level of craftsmanship. We also treat our customers as lifelong clients and have worked with many for decades to help them maintain and upgrade their homes as needed, many becoming repeat customers. Thanks to Riverland Homes who provided excellent general contracting servicing while we worked with them on the landscaping of two Italian Villa estates in Aurora, Oregon. John and Larry's expertise, communication style, and professionalism made our experience with the clients seamless as we worked towards a hard dead line to provide a beautiful space for a large wedding. Riverland Homes is a class act. I have built several homes with them and they are truly a first class operation. From the initial meeting to the minutia details of the last punch list and the year review, they are with you every step of the way. They are financially responsible but still creative in making your dreams a reality. They use top of the line sub contractors, keep a clean work place, have years of experience that has encountered almost any unique construction issue you may have. They run a very tight ship hold to their timeline and budget, they keep communications open with you as they go through the process. I have to say that i have in all my years in and out of the Construction Industry ever experienced the Professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness, Budget, that Riverland Homes delivered. Their Sub Contractors and material providers were outstanding. The home was on schedule and our expectations from start to finish were surpassed in every way. John and Chris provided custom suggestions throughout the build that made the finished home much more than what was on the Architectural Plan. I cannot put into words how my wife Lynn and I feel about Riverland, John, Chris, and Kathy. They are dream makers of the Highest regard. It is not the breaths you take every day that count, but the Moments that take your breath away! Riverland has certainly taken our breath away with this Outstanding Home! Ray and Lynn

I have used Riverland Homes on two major remodeling projects in the last ten years. The first was a million dollar remodel of an older home with an extensive addition and the second was an interior remodel in the $300,000 range. In each instance their work from beginning to end was impeccable and I recommend them unreservedly for any project, large or small.

Riverland Homes worked with an architect very familiar with our city's zoning requirements and committed to designing the home we wanted. John Chlopek kept a spreadsheet of all expenses - projected and actual - which we reviewed regularly, or at any time I requested. We controlled costs throughout the building process - small unexpected overruns were offset by small unexpected savings. Riverland's policy of no charge for changes before construction was helpful several times. John's subs were, almost without exception, very nice people - people we would be happy to have in our home, not just building it. In fact, we did have an open-house for subs to see the finished house. They were remarkably respectful and eager to build to our satisfaction. Some possessed skills (eg. woodworking, tiling) we didn't know still existed. So we end up like one of the references we checked before contracting with Riverland: "We would never build a house again...unless Riverland did it."

コメント：Whose siding is this? Lovely!It is cedar siding from a company called Haida Forest Products, this product called Haida Skirl, beveled edge. The siding does need to be painted with a sealant (in this case a Sikkens stain) to prot...
