For high-end custom construction, the costs can be $800+/sq. ft. Typical Architectural Fees can be 3%-6% of construction costs. Architectural fees can vary: $4,000-$8,000 for small addition/remodel projects, $8,000-$18,000 for medium addition/remodel projects and $18,000-$40,000 for major addition/remodel/new home projects.
