I have used Home by Jody for several jobs in my home. Our living room was partly done when I hired Jody. She "saved me" from ordering and installing old-fashioned drapes. She selected a more crisp-looking fabric, and designed an updated look that makes such a statement in the room. My aunt and uncle gave me their beautiful French country dining room furniture. Jody selected gorgeous fabric, designed a transitional style drape and chose an incredibly stunning and unique chandelier. She also chose, framed and placed terrific artwork in the room. Jody transformed the room to be "French chic" - an updated, stylish look for what might have been an ordinary room with old French furniture. Jody also selected gorgeous, one-of-a-kind wallpaper for my small first-floor office and the adjoining bathroom. The wallpaper is so wonderful, I wanted a lucite, clear desk so that nothing would take your eyes off the walls! I can't believe I'm talking about bathroom wallpaper, but Jody selected a bamboo design that matched the colors in the room. At first I wasn't sure about it, but I went with it, and now I can't believe I ever questioned the choice. I wish it was in my powder room! We are now working on my foyer - I can't wait to see what Jody designs to make the first impression of our home a magnificent one. There are several reasons why Jody is a fabulous decorator to work with. First off, her taste is impeccable. I know from having seen different homes she has done that she can design many different styles - and her eye and artistic instinct are truly special gifts. Also, Jody is as honest as they come. She has integrity - she will stand by her word, and never give up if a situation arises that makes a job difficult. She will be honest with you about what will "work" in your room and about what things will cost. Jody also has positive working relationships with contractors and their technicians. She is respected and these professionals respond to her as a decorator who knows how to get things done. I cannot recommend Home by Jody highly enough. You will enjoy working with her (she is charming!) and your home will certainly be magnificent when she is done.

I had the good fortune to build my house from the ground up with Jody Lichtenstein. Jody's innate ability to read her client helped her as she designed the spaces in our home to accommodate our lifestyle. Her choices of fabric, wallpaper and even wall color are exciting and unexpected. I would give Jody the highest possible recommendation, working with her was an absolute treat.

We hired Jody when we decided to build our home. Jody is the consummate professional, and literally assisted us every step of the way from the preparation of the architectural renderings and drawings through the finishing touches like the dining room votives. Considering how large a financial undertaking building and designing a home is, Jody helped us achieve our desires while paying constant attention to the bottom line and keeping within budgetary limits without any sacrifice in quality or aesthetic appeal. Each tile choice, paint color, fabric, window treatment, appliance, fixture, lighting, etc., was made with meticulous attention to detail and in keeping with the design vision she laid out from the beginning. Equally impressive was Jody's ability to oversee the construction and design of the house and work with all of the various trades, allowing us to focus on our jobs knowing that the decisions which were required were being made properly and timely.

Working with Jody was a wonderful experience. Her flair for style and color is simply fabulous. Jody was there every step of the way. Her communication and over sight of the project was key. We highly recommend Jody to our clients as we know they are in good hands.
