The current renovation is the second that Janise Dockree has worked with us on. She collaborated with us to understand the look we were going for and then kept us true to that overall look as we worked through the project. She has been a complete partner throughout the project; creating the design, selecting materials, helping us find contractors, sometimes ordering furniture and sometimes commenting on furniture that we buy somewhere else. Perhaps most importantly, when my wife and I couldn’t agree on something (4 out of 5 decisions), Janise became the reasoned voice that we both trusted. When we decided to remodel our 2 bedroom condo in St. Pete, Joann’s Interiors was the first one we thought of and we were not disappointed. Doing a total remodel from out of state can be very stressful, but Janise helped us through many decisions. Janise listens and tries to discover your style and the look you are imagining. Janise guided us in choosing our flooring, tile and paint colors. Joann’s Interiors offers a wide selection of furniture and window treatments and accessories. We chose Hunter Douglas Plantation Shutters and Vertiglides for window treatments. The quality and installation was excellent. We also purchased our new living room and dining room furniture from Joann’s Interiors and are very happy with the quality and style. We are looking forward to working with Janise on decorative items to complete our remodel. We highly recommend Janise Dockree and Joann’s Interiors.

Apart from being very personable, she is organised, conscientious, service-oriented and, most importantly, a highly competent designer. The fact that my condo is now so much more comfortable also reflects her ability to listen and take on board my likes and dislikes. Her patience in the face of (my) indecisiveness was appreciated, as was her ability to work independently and to a deadline. On the rare occasion where a problem has cropped up with an installation, it has been promptly followed up and rectified. You can trust Janise to get the job done and done well.

Janice listens to your ideas and along with her expertise makes them into a beautiful space. She has designed my living room, dining room and now bar area. It has been an ease to work with Janice from picking paint colors, lighting, rugs to choosing fabrics for sofas and chairs. She has a great eye for design.
