Joani did an excellent job working with me on my two bedroom condo in the Marina City Club. She was very responsive, creative and I love the final results!

I am positive I have the most beautiful master bedroom & master bathroom in town! Joani really gives her all - 100% - she knows my style & brings my ideas to life! She has terrific creative ideas of how to incorporate wallpaper to modernize the rooms … Even during these unsure times, she was able to keep track of all of it - organized & creative - give her a try! The renovation was a remarkable experience. She really took her time to understand my style. Her attention to detail was spot on. Talented & easy to work with. I have been working with her for many years.

When my living room needed an update, I called Joani to help with the project. We decided the chairs could stay, but the sofa needed replacing. She quickly provided a large assortment of fabrics to choose from for re-upholstery at a reasonable cost and took me around to select a sofa to compliment my furnishings. The result reflects my style, is creative and sophisticated. I will definitely call her for my next design project.

Joani is a designer who can create a palette of gourmet textures, colors, lighting, accessories and art in both luxury and economy. She will listen to you with careful ears, and execute your perfect vision--or, if you wish, she will design for you from scratch. Joani works expediently, fairly, timely, specifically to complete a project on time, and correctly. She was always there when I needed her, and always was right on target with her decisions. She works with skilled contractors, and technical professionals to complete your home to your ultimate satisfaction. I cannot give her more than 5 stars, as there are no more on this site.... if there were--I would give her 100 stars!!

I have had the great pleasure of working with Joani of Montana Ave Interiors on numerous occasions. I hired Joanie to assist me with my kitchen/master bath redo. She helped me choose all the tiles, finishes, hardware and appliances. She worked within my budget and never complained if I asked her to look for something cheaper or got offended if I chose something other than her first option. She was responsive to emails and text and setup the orders quickly once the items were selected. She has a great sense of style and comes armed with multiple ideas and options. I highly recommend using her on your project.

I first met Joani at UCLA interior design program in 1978. We were both students there and after graduation we became design partners in our first firm. We were so hot. Our first job out of school was for a wealthy young trust fund kid. We designed his condo in luxury hi-rise near UCLA. He had impeccable taste and allowed us to lt our imaginations out, which we did. To this day, it was probably the most beautiful project we ever did. We continued to do many more projects together and we had the most wonderful time. Joani and I were very different and our approach to design is very different. I believe that is what made us such a great team. Personal circumstances intervened and we separated as business partners, but have remained the closest of friends all these years. Joani is talented, sincere, expressive and beautiful. She has a love of fashion as well as a passion for design and that is what is so valuable in her work. She is also a patron of the arts and works art into every project. She is involved with so much, Art, museums, education, travel (she travels extensively) and is always open to seeing beauty if everything and appreciating it and sharing it. It has been a pleasure being by her side through this life journey.

Montana Ave. Interiors (Joani Stewart-Georgi) did the lobby redesign of a multi unit building in which I had lived. Joani has exquisite taste and I HIGHLY recommend her for your interior design projects.

I have known and loved Joani from the minute we met. She hired me over 10 years ago as her bookkeeper. I work for many designers and many are very difficult to work with. We work hard, we laugh a lot, she rarely stresses and never gets upset with me. I am impressed at how effortless she makes managing a successful business look. She has survived many financial market crashes, when business was hard to come by and everyone was very distrustful. Her many loyal clients stayed steady over the years and have continued to require her services and refer her to their friends and neighbors. I love her style, never the same . . . but always so wonderful and beautiful. It is so much fun to come to work and see what projects she is working on . . . she passes things by me, so I can be of part of her projects. I have spoken to many of her clients (I am the bookkeeper, after all . . .) and never have I heard anyone say anything other than positive remarks about her. They all love her. She follows through with her projects, down to the smallest detail and leaves no space untouched. I admire her and her passion for her job.

Joanie got beautiful fabrics for me to recover existing furniture. Plus she had two chairs made for me and spent hours looking for and ultimately purchasing rugs & tables. We are still in process of completing this project.
