We hired John Morris to build our dream summer home in Maine. We selected him based on the quality projects we reviewed. After setting down with us to understand what we were looking for, he nailed it. His attention to detail and is eye for uniqueness is what impressed us the most. He and Josh and the team went the extra mile to find the little things that really made our home unique. We couldn't be happier!

We hired John Morris Architects to design our dream home. We could not have been more pleased with that decision! The professionalism, the vision, the attention to detail, the quality of services and resulting house were everything we could have hoped for and more! No detail in the design was overlooked. Everyone who visits us agrees that our home is one of the most beautiful they have ever seen!

John created a wonderful Maine Beachouse for us to entertain and eventually retire in. Working with strict EPA limitations he created, instead of a typical rectangular home facing south, a home of four staggered rectangles facing the southwestern ocean views. On the main floor, one is awed by the views and entertainment space but is unaware that there is a whole other wing on the main floor for our master bedroom and office. The second floor has its own entertainment space, bedrooms and a screened in room for our large family and visitors. John's tastes are of deep rich architectural details in continuity with modern design with a Maine flavor, from curved nautical doors to copper roofing. John is very confident in his work but also listens to our thoughts. When the DEP refused to allow outer decking on the upper floor we suggested to move a bathroom to an existing reading room and create a screened in room. We were all thrilled with John's redesign. John met deadlines , was on budget and was excellent working with town and DEP officers.
