Jill McCrae at JM Design completely transformed our new home into a magical place. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I couldn’t be happier with her style, her approach and willingness to collaborate. There are some designers who you hire who makes all the decisions and you’re expected to run with their style, but not Jill. Jill took the time to understand my vision and worked with me to achieve the look & feel I wanted. Her ability to curate every space (from our entryway to the living room, bedrooms and bathrooms) was thoughtful and unique – she has an exceptional eye and deep understanding of what’s available, what’s trending, and where to source it. Our house turned out beautiful – it feels luxurious and elegant and yet functional and comfortable. Working with Jill exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to working with her again on future projects.

Jill is an amazing and experienced interior designer!! From our first meeting to the completion of the project Jill has been incredible to work with. Jill has beautiful taste in all aspects of design. She listened to what I had in mind for our project and was able to execute it in ways I never thought imaginable. Working with JM Interiors on our kitchen remodel was the best decision I could have made. I cannot overstate the accomplishment of successfully navigating the complex landscape of pandemic/weather related supply chain challenges. Jill’s diligence in following up with suppliers and her flexibility kept our project on-time and on budget. I hired Jill to update some rooms in my home. I didn't want to do a complete redesign but instead a way of bringing more of a modern contemporary appearance to our house. Jill has a great talent for design and color... she's very easy to work with and a very good listener with fantastic ideas to freshen up a room. She added some special touches such as unique kitchen knobs/pulls; gorgeous pendant lighting; stunning dining room open shelving/with antique side mirrors; new club chairs and cushions in my living room; updated reupholstery on my dining room chairs; etc. Jill's very easy and engaging, fun personality and has a great eye for pieces that can make a difference in a room without breaking a budget. I'm planning on hiring her for many other home updates.

Jill is OUTSTANDING! She is a pleasure to work with, is incredibly creative and stylish, her look has transformed our home and achieved the feel we had hoped. She delivers on quality and time. The compliments we receive on our furniture, lights, paint color, etc., we say "that's Jill." Fully responsive and makes sure things are delivered, assembled and installed properly. Truly highest quality in service, materials, and character.

We have been working with Jill for, at this point, too many years to count. We moved into a large house in Tiburon when our girls were quite young. The prior owners had an interesting sense of decor -- the frame of the house was perfect, but every room was decorated in some shade of pink. We couldn't afford to, and didn't want to, remodel the whole house at once particularly since the kids were so little and the main pieces of furniture in the house were Little Tikes. Initially, we hired Jill to just do the kitchen which needed a total refresh. Then as the girls got older and wanted teenage rooms, she helped decorate their bedrooms and baths. Finally it was time to redo the adult spaces including the living room (with a custom-build new fireplace), dining room and master bed/bath. Lastly, she just finished out entry and entry bath. This latest project is literally a piece/room of art. I had told Jill that I wanted a truly 'wow' entry -- and she more than delivered. Our entryway is magical, so unique and very much 'us.' Jill has literally grown with our family, having decorated now almost every bit of our house. I honestly can't say enough great things about working with Jill...but I'll try. First, I love her sense of style, and she is AMAZING with colors. In the early years, she learned very quickly the type of look I was going for and just ran with it. I trust her implicitly to the point where I often just say "whatever you choose is fine." She knows that I get overwhelmed with too many choices so always comes prepared with her favorite 10 or 12 pieces for me to look at. Also, her working style is so easy. She is always on time and is so responsive to my emails/texts. She keeps me constantly abreast of timing and what is going on (i.e. if there are problems or delays). Lastly she has a robust network of the nicest, most professional contractors (e.g. tilers, electricians, plumbers, etc.). Jill manages everyone and everything so you don't need to get involved (unless you want to). In this regard, she is a total details person. She oversees a project like a hawk. Everything must be perfect and if it's not, she will make contractors redo work or send items back. Jill has such a terrific energy and is a total joy to work with! She is the best.

Jill has helped me with 3 different homes, a traditional family house, upscale city condo, and country home. Always prepared, extremely thorough, and excellent listener. Jill can access from many resources for products, fabrics, and designs. It is less expensive to use her services than try to do on my own, no mistakes and experienced ideas.

Jill McCrae is the greatest. She got me thinking outside my little box and seeing possibilities. She helped my downsize a large arts-and-craft home into a smaller, brighter condo space. Kept the costs down. I give her 5 stars!

Working with Jill was a pleasure. She completely redisigned my master bath, accessories for my living room and helped redesign my study. She is professional, always courteous and respectful of your time. She is very resourceful not only with furnishings and design knowledge but with excellent labor/electricians, floor and tile installers,etc. She has excellent taste. She likes tea!
