We view our clients as part of our extended network of families, for and non-profit entrepreneurs, public entities, creators and builders. Will Irons

Jean-Louis and staff were awesome to work with on the modern inspired design. The remodel design required keeping the majority of the existing small 1950's beach bungalow while incorporating an additional 2000 sq. feet of living space. The goal was to create a modern home with open living space and needs of a growing family. In addition, the design would be seamless incorporating the old and new structure. Jean-Louis and team worked very hard with us to accomplish this goal. I felt they really listened and cared about the project. I would highly recommend JLC.

Jean-Louis and Tyler are incredibly talented architects and more importantly in my opinion, nice and honest people. They re-designed an adobe house into a modern masterpiece and worked effectively with the RSF art jury to get it approved (which is no small feat). They were readily available, responding quickly to our emails and phone calls. They genuinely felt bad when we had trouble with our contractors, and came to weekly meetings to try to move construction along. We switched contractors for the exterior renovations and they worked well with the new company who they had never worked with previously. They will be “My Architects” for all future projects.

I retained JLC in early 2011 to completely re-design and significantly expand my home in Solana Beach. JLC executed the re-design in carefully planned phases with us fully involved in moving through the stages JLC was keenly cognizant and in control of cost, practicalty and scheduling factors throughout the design including primary emphasis on the aesthetics. What resulted was a beautiful home completed in late 2013 that fully met our expectations. It has been a constant pleasure to live in the house since that time.

A year and half ago I purchased a small duplex that I wanted to convert into a single family house. The location was great, with an existing ocean view, but the building was pretty spartan. Working closely with Tyler Van Stright at JLC, we came up with a great design that took maximum advantage of the existing structure, while creating a very modern/contemporary house. Since the property is in a view assessment area, we were limited in what could be done without triggering an extensive additional review and permitting process. Tyler was awesome at working through the design to maximize the use of the existing view and not requiring what would have been a great deal of cost and time associated with the view assessment process. Finally, Tyler and the rest of the JLC team were a delight to work with. Always friendly, helpful and communicative. I really look forward to getting to work with them again some day.

In a blind search for architects to help us on an extensive remodel, we found JLC on Houzz. After a 2 month process of reviewing 3 other architecture firms and 2 design build companies int he San Diego area, we selected Jean Louis. He understood and listened to what we wanted. There was constructive suggestions. We begged him and Tyler to tell us when we were nuts. We were firm sometimes, but they always listened. Naylor Construction built it and we spent a lot more time and money there, but it was JLC that created the house we love. Cliche as it sounds, the best compliment is when people say a) they can't tell the difference from the street or b) had no idea what was inside before entering. After all, we bought the house, because we liked the way it sat of the presence and potential. In the end, it is basically a custom built home, with barely a bigger footprint than the 1947 original. Still single story living, but with the spaces updated for the way we live today. Varying ceiling heights, part of the garage converted to the kitchen, expanded the nursery to a reasonably sized and very well situated MB suite. The flow and comfort are all a credit to JLC.

Our company has worked with JLC on a few "challenging" projects. We have been impressed with their focus to detail, high level of communication and solutions oriented approach which isn't always the case on high end projects. The quality of their work shows in the finished product and satisfaction of their clients.

Streamline Development

Working with JLC Architecture has been an amazing journey in taking a vacant lot in Solana Beach and making dreams come true by building a beautiful custom home together. Jean Louis is a very talented and brilliant designer and Architect. We look forward to working on more projects together.

コメント：Can you provide the manufacturer for the pocket sliding glass door?Anderson 100 Fibrex composite on the windows and Anderson Aluminum-Clad Wood on the doors. I believe the multi-slide was from La Cantina.
