Jj McCarthy Interior Design was established in January 2011. Jj has a degree in History of Art and graduated from the KLC School of Design in 2004. Prior to setting up her own company Jj worked alongside well established designers, including Celia Hendry and Nicholas Herbert. Jj specialises in furniture design and loves to integrate carefully sourced antiques, decorative objects and beautiful textiles ensuring that the end result is completely unique, yet evokes a look that has evolved over the years and truly reflects the clients personality. We can guarantee that the journey will be a hugely fulfilling and exciting process.

Sarah Mason

Jj oversaw the complete modernisation and renovation of my. Victorian London house. Jj and her team managed every stage of the project, from obtaining planning permission, remodelling the interior layout, to the interior design of the house and the design of the garden. Jj's attention to detail and ability to understand a clients brief are second to none, she brought a wealth of experience and was truly inspirational when it came to sourcing furniture and finishes. Most importantly Jj and her team are a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

JJ McCarthy completely transformed my house from a tired old house which had not been touched in Barnes for 20 years. She had immense patience and recommended lovely colours and superb fabrics which now look wonderful in place. She has immense talent and is very good value for money and wonderful taste of course.
