JB was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt like he had good vision to expand the ideas I had. I think it's great that he provided the option to create a landscape drawing and credit it toward the contract.

It was a real pleasure working with JB and his crew on our patio remodel! I hired JB after interviewing 2 other Design/Build Landscaping companies. Based on all the positive reviews that he received on this website and other review sites, my expectations were very high for a positive outcome. JB far exceeded those expectations with a home run design that incorporated all the elements we were dreaming of: flagstone patio, fire pit, water feature, and pergola along with flowers and plants woven into the scene. JB is an artist in addition to being a great contractor. He guided me toward using brick on the fire pit so that it would blend in to the design. He also contracted with his expert carpenters to design a unique pergola that totally renovated our tired, dated screened in porch. The end result is a beautifully designed and conceived outdoor living space that is peaceful and beautiful. It's an area of retreat for me and my family and it has increased the value of our home. JB kept his promises and exceeded my expectations. Two values that are hard to find in a contractor these days. I would highly recommend Insite Landscaping and JB to anyone who needs to creatively update their outdoor living space.

JB was wonderful and communicative from beginning to end. He is efficient and understood how to develop my half-cooked vision for my yard and executed beautifully. He worked with me and the modifications constructively, giving his expertise, and the finished product came out better than I'd envisioned. JB was conscientious, showed committment, and provided a great value for the money. When we had a miscommunication about an aspect of the scope, he took care of it personally. The landscapers were an absolute delight to work with; they were punctual, worked incredibly hard and efficiently, and really knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend all of these guys.

We cannot say enough good things about J.B. Had had done an extensive landscaping project at our previous home in the mountains, and this one , although in the city, is every bit as lush, sophisticated in design, and careful about plant selection. He had a serious employee sanfu, which he got straightened out within a day. He supervised the progress on a daily basis. His follow up has been extensive. He is paying attention to several plants that are struggling, but there are only 3 out of several hundred in the install. I am extremely impressed by his knowledge of plant material, as we were having a very technical conversation with the arborist and J.B. had prompt and thought-provoking answers to the arborist's queries about how the soil was prepped, how the trees were staked, recent research on troublesome trees. Best of all is how J.B. listened to our thoughts about how we wanted the area to look and he designed a beautiful, welcoming yet private space for us to enjoy. Everyone who walks past remarks about how wonderful it is.
