Janet Greenblatt is new to Houzz although she has been designing and renovating homes for over 20 years. Janet believes that our homes and living spaces are fundamental to who we are. Her passion as a designer is not only to create functional spaces, but also to design emotional environments — rooms that above all capture the soul and spirit of the people who live in them, while being true to the architecture of the home and her clients dreams.
Janet is an ASID Residential Interior Designer serving Portland OR, New York, and Southern California, her home base is in Portland, OR.
She works in the decoration and renovation of new and existing homes. Janet has an innate ability to design spaces to suit the lifestyles, desires, and tastes of her clients. Janet works individually with each client to develop a design aesthetic reflecting her client’s personalities and taste, while focuses on incorporating natural, sustainable materials and infusing subtle references to nature with a respect for the homes architecture.
Janet has worked with countless types of spaces creating a comfortable and soothing environment perfect for relaxing or entertaining friends and family with an aesthetic that is timeless and functional.
Janet prides herself on the fact that the homeowners who work with her, not only enjoy the process but understand every step of the process while being fully involved in every decision.
A former restaurant owner and chef for several years, Janet knows what a practical yet dreamy kitchen needs. She has created many Kitchens and baths for both residential and commercial use.
