We have been working with J&L Interiors to furnish and decorate our new home. The end-product is beautiful. Julie (Sensitive Information Hidden) and Olivia (Sensitive Information Hidden) have helped us with everything: window treatments, paint colors, fixtures, artwork, furniture/fabrics, lighting, floor treatments. Our new home is on a bigger scale than our last home and much of our existing furniture would not have worked in the new space. We had to rethink how to decorate the space. Julie and Olivia have created a very stylish, comfortable, cozy, perfect home. Everything flows and it suits our style. We could not have created such a beautiful space without them. They are professional and responsive, and a ‘one-stop shop’ for home decorating needs. We can ask for ideas, referrals, decorating solutions, and they are always able to help. My husband and I moved into a home in the Purcellville area earlier this year. We needed help with numerous upgrades including painting, lighting, and finishing the basement. We wanted to find an interior designer to guide us through the renovation process and recommend a trusted contractor for the work. After meeting with Julie at our home, we were quickly convinced she would be a wonderful partner for our many home improvement projects. Julie is a great listener who made every effort to meet our needs. First she helped us choose beautiful furniture, rugs, and drapes. She suggested and designed a built-in unit for our family room t.v. She recommended a company for our audio-visual and Internet needs, and their technicians did excellent work. Julie also referred us to a painting company whose painters worked quickly but carefully to paint most spaces in the house. The contractor we chose through Julie helped us with new recess lighting in several bedrooms and new plumbing fixtures in some bathrooms. Julie designed the layout for finishing our basement. The contractor is almost finished with that space and will begin remodeling our master bathroom soon. He and his crew have done excellent work. After we decided to upgrade all the closets in the house, Julie designed them with maximum use of the spaces and then referred us to a closet company that has just installed beautiful new closets throughout our home. All along the way, Julie listened carefully to our needs and provided us with beautiful choices for furniture, rugs, drapes, cabinets, lighting, tile, and plumbing fixtures. Early on she created a Pinterest board so we could easily view the options for the various spaces. Her very capable assistants Olivia and Duane helped install blinds, light fixtures, and plumbing fixtures. It has been a pleasure working with Julie and her entire team. Their professional service has made the renovation process as stress-free as possible, and their reliable referrals have done great work. Julie and her team transformed a 100 year old cottage in Northern Virginia into a beautiful little vacation home for us. She and her team managed the entire project end to end - from design, construction, furnishings, and more. We purchased a home in Loudoun County in Spring of 2022 from out-of-state and knew we would need help with making updates to the house and space planning. To help us with the selection process, Julie has built Pinterest pages with ideas for our selections and often sends us several pictures of ideas for each item for us to choose from. Julie is a very responsive communicator and a great listener. Olivia and Duane who help with her team are also fabulous to work with. We are so thankful to have worked with them on this large undertaking and absolutely would recommend them for your home design projects - large or small.

When we decided it was time to renovate and expand our kitchen, a major consideration was partnering with an interior designer who could help transform the main level of our home into a functional and contemporary area that fit our family’s style and provide a living space we could enjoy for many years to come. Lori did a great job transforming my ho hum master bedroom into something I absolutely love. I asked her to brighten up my room and make it look fresh, without breaking the bank. She respected that I did not want to purchase all new furniture and she suggested keeping certain pieces and repurposing a table from another part of my home to save money. Then we could use my budget towards things that would create a "wow" and she was very effective at selecting the items and presenting them to me to show me how everything would complement the other pieces. Once she spoke with me to understand what I wanted to accomplish she took the burden off of me and came back to me with the complete look instead of miring me down in the details, piece by piece. She coordinated the delivery and installation teams and it turned out to be a very smooth process, which I very much appreciated! I am super happy and would highly recommend Lori and her team. They are very talented.

I had the pleasure of photographing Lori and Julie's recent remodel located in Downtown Leesburg, VA. When I walked in the front door I was blown away by the style, attention to detail and ambiance the house possessed. As a photographer I thought I had a keen eye for details, but Lori and Julie see things on a different detailed level. Everything has a place and purpose from the wall color paint for each room to the hardware displayed in the bathrooms to the throw pillows on each piece of furniture. Lori and Julie aren't confined to one particular style. They have the ability to create a space based on their clients' needs. Their diversity in style is evident in the other projects they've completed. To top it all off, even though they were my client, they treated me as if I was theirs.
