Holliday Masonry was established in 1980 by Jamie Holliday. Gaining personal experience through skilled mentors and working in the masonry field as a young man, Jamie has fostered a unique openness and willingness to teach masonry to others. These strengths and his own love of learning continue to flavor Holliday Masonry to this day. When demand for skilled and artistic masonry overran his ability to produce, Jamie hired only the best craftsmen, giving them a place to exercise and build upon their own masonry skills. Residential masonry is one of the few trades that continue to allow the individual artistry and skill of each craftsman to shape an entire project. Holliday Masonry honors and excels in this. Memberships include: King and Snohomish Master Builders since 1982, the Brick Advisory Panel since 2003, the Residential Masonry Contractors Association (Vice President since inception in 2004, and the National Residential Masonry Contractors Association since its inception in 2006. Jamie has been happily married to his wife, Arla, since 1987.

Jamie and his team were excellent to work with. The crew was respectful of my house and property and kept a very clean site. They maintained the schedule and went beyond expectations. Jamie himself was involved in the project from the design phase and helped coordinate with other trades to make sure we got a quality product. I can't speak highly enough about Holliday Masonry and will be using them again in the future for any masonry needs. Above all else, the quality of work performed by Holliday Masonry was fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and its stone artisans. Their workmanship is fantastic. Their skill and attention to detail is exactly what you want in a project like this. They worked through terrible weather and never missed a beat. They were always on time and always cleaned up thoroughly after themselves each day. Jamie Holliday is a wonderful person to do business with. Honorable, trustworthy, and a genuinely nice guy.

Absolute right choice. I knew right away he knew what he was talking about; after interviewing about six other contractors and not feeling confident. He took the time to write out detailed step-by-step descriptions of the entire process to put us at ease as well as educate us. Very professionally executed and truly “turn-key”. Finished exactly on schedule and right on target with the budget.

I am a General Contractor working exclusively in commercial construction. In my 21 years of doing business I have encountered many subcontractors in various trades. Most are very professional and extremely competent. But the commitment to excellence and dedicated work ethic displayed by Holliday Masonry on my most recent project in very adverse conditions has set a new standard of trade quality, knowledge, cleanliness and attitude. Plus, these guys come to work happy and I liked having them on the job site. Superb.

Hammer & Hand contracted Holliday Masonry for a complex patio extension project for our client in Madison Valley, extending an existing patio of bluestone and brick work walls that included a new built-in fireplace and outdoor kitchen. The work was of the highest standard that we expect, and appears seamless from existing to new. The team were courteous, professional and collaborative in every way. We all enjoyed working with the Holiday Masonry team, and look forward to doing so again.

Incredible workmanship and attention to detail. What I really appreciated is Jamie's integrity and the work ethic that pervades his company. I did not have to babysit them every minute to insure they were doing the job correctly and up to our demanding standards. A refreshing upgrade from the usual fare.

Thank you for your kind words. That project was really a great way for us to show off a bit and to tell you the truth I had never worked with a Project Manager that had such a good overall understanding of our installation process. You had a firm grasp of how it had to mesh with the high standards for building envelope integrity that you demanded as well as the significant structural requirements for hanging such large pieces all around the project. If I were to say, "hey, wait a minute", it would be the price range. I believe including the materials, that job came in around a half million $'s.

I've worked with Holliday Masonry for 10 years in the Pacific Northwest. The owner, who is extremely professional, is also one of the most knowledgeable residential masonry contractors I've met over the years. Extremely personable and friendly. Moreover, well rounded in both building construction and design.

We used Holliday Masonry to Build Various Masonry Wall Structures on a Commercial Construction Project. It was a completely Turnkey Process, they furnished and Installed all Materials in a safe, quality and Professional Manner.

I worked with Holliday Masonry for over 20 years on over 1000 homes, before I retired in 2009. As a higher end home builder, we were very exacting in our expectations from all of our sub-contractor partners. I can safely say that Holliday Masonry was among the very top people with whom I worked. Jamie is more than a mason, he understands construction and the intricacies of how masonry interacts with other construction disciplines. He is very capable of working on the very simplest of projects to the most complicated in all mediums. He is not the least expensive, but very fairly priced. If your concerns are quality, performance, inspiration and an easy working relationship, you won't go wrong with Holliday.

Holliday Masonary has done many projects for us from fireplaces, fire pits and walls to built in grills, counters, columns, etc. They are reliable, experienced craftsman and we highly recommend them.
