Name Architects

I've had the pleasure of working with Jack on a few projects, but most recently on our Chelsea Apartment completed in 2018. Having worked with a few different companies in my time, I can say with certainty that no other company comes close to the level of detail, design ingenuity and quality of workmanship provided by Jack and his team. It is an utter pleasure to work with another professional who focuses so much on every aspect and nuance of each individual project and who will stop at nothing in order to deliver one exceptional project after another. I cannot wait for the next time I have an opportunity to collaborate on a project with JT and cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for a quality kitchen.

We collaborated with Jack on a small kitchen within a grand Grade II Listed Building. He immediately grasped the issues and complexities of the project and propose a fresh and contemporary solution which looks great in the space. The attention to detail was excellent and went far further than the usual formulaic solutions offered by similarly priced kitchen designer/manufacturers. What was also wonderful, is how clearly Jack communicated the design to the client. From an architect/Project Manager perspective we were really impressed with the quality of drawings and other technical information which allowed us and the contractor to programme the necessary works around the installation. The installation went very smoothly with their guys soing a great job and working with skill and attention. The final installation was left pristine with a user manual which put other very high-end kitchen suppliers to shame. We will certainly continue to recommend Jack Trench, and look forward to our next collaboration.

We're thrilled with our Jack Trench Bespoke Kitchen. Having met a few kitchen firms, we immediately connected with Jack and his vision and knew he'd be the right fit for us. The process was more akin to having a bespoke suit made than a home renovation. We got to choose the exact veneer that would make up our cupboards, the painstakingly matched marble for our counters, and the exact position of the (very handy) power outlet that we use to charge our devices at the kitchen island. The kitchen was literally fitted into the room, making the most of our quirkily-shaped space and uneven floor. The result is a room that is spectacular to look at, but thought through with daily use in mind - it is a joy to cook in and is truly the heart of our home.

We are absolutely delighted with the kitchen that Jack Trench Ltd designed for us: it is the focus of our recently refurbished house and has beamed light and lines into our huge living space. The craftsmanship is superb, and the finish top notch. Jack and his team brought a wealth of stylish ideas into our thinking and delivered a solution that is simultaneously modern and classic and makes the space work. With a client really focused on quality, I knew JT & team would be one of the few companies able to deliver a really unique product, that would meet the clients expectations. As interior designers responsible for the 'whole' its massively helpful to have someone who can foresee and answer all the practical issues with excellent ideas, understand the sensibility of the project and add creatively to the design. We had little budget, but Jacks attention to detail with dimensions, work-ability, finishes and installation meant we made the right decisions without compromising on quality. Our kitchen had to have a vintage feel to it, while being practical today. Influenced from an English 1930's kitchen table. We used white soaped ash and tongue and groove detailing for simplicity against the herringbone floor. The bespoke brass handles, mirroring exterior architectural features, are designed to patinate over time. The brass taps are from Vola, the tiles are original, appliances sourced and supplied by JT are all freestanding. For both design & installation, creativity & process, I highly recommend Jack and his team, and we looking forward to working with him and his team again.

I had the pleasure of working with Jack Trench Ltd on our project at Crosby Row, London. They were commissioned by our client to develop the design of the kitchen, which needed to compliment the volume into which it was being placed. This they did with ease, developing a design, which not only understood our intent but which was made to an extremely high quality and executed with an attention to detail that was quite singular. Jack seemed to intuitively understand our design strategy and responded to the brief in a way that required little modification. The information supplied to us to review, the sizes and detailing, was extremely comprehensive and thorough. This was the case in all communications throughout the period we worked together. The components of the kitchen arrived on site and were installed without a hitch. This is testament not only to the accuracy of the site survey that formed the basis of their setting out drawings but also to the focus and understanding of their installation team. The kitchen was installed whilst site operations where being undertaken around them, causing no disruption. We have now arrived at a finished project where the design sits seamlessly within our design, there have been no snagging issues and we have a very satisfied client.

Dealing with Jack and his team during the design and commissioning phase was an unexpected pleasure. Their patience, creativity and passion for getting every detail just right took all the stress out of commissioning a new kitchen. The first time I heard of Jack Trench Bespoke Kitchens was through an article in the Sunday Telegraph. Jack referenced the golden triangle of kitchen building, but what really caught my eye were the shots of one of his kitchens in Brancaster Staithe. It looked like a gigantic piece of a dissected cake and I knew at once that I wanted to talk to this man called Jack Trench. And ask him if he was keen on building a kitchen in Switzerland. In my mind, Jack was this older gentlemen, certainly very busy, possibly a little bit arrogant from decades of building luxurious kitchens for Britain's most beautiful homes. So I expected to be turned down in the kindest way. But lo and behold, Jack is this young lad (okay, not exactly young, but certainly not an old fart) who was keen on hearing what I had on my mind. To cut a long story short, Jack Trench Ltd built us the most fabulous kitchen. The quality of their craftsmanship is outstanding. The attention to detail is second to none. The way the kitchen has been integrated into this former living room is very clever and is a testament to their skill on how to mix old and new. The Corian counter tops are pleasing to touch and look clean but not clinical. But beyond the sheer quality of the kitchen, it was the immense pleasure of working with Jack and his team that turned this kitchen into a little piece of magic for us. It is without any doubt the most important part of our house and I enjoy looking at Jack's work every day.
