I am thrilled to write this review for Isaman Design. After a disappointing experience with a previous architect, Isaman Design came to my rescue and transformed a difficult situation into an incredibly positive one. Their team did an amazing job redesigning my home. They not only salvaged the project but also significantly improved upon the initial design, creating a space that far exceeded my expectations. What truly set Isaman Design apart was their responsiveness, collaborative approach, and deep experience in custom home design. They listened to my needs, incorporated my feedback, and worked with me every step of the way. The investment in a 3D model was invaluable; it allowed us to visualize the final home design in detail and identify any necessary changes before construction began, saving both time and potential costly revisions. We've been working with Isaman Design for the past two years and would highly recommend to anyone looking for design and architecture services. They were recommended to us through our real estate agent after we purchased our home in Cambria. We specifically worked with Kate, who was remarkably responsive and collaborative. We worked remotely from Los Angeles and she was extremely accommodating, helping us navigate a number of tricky issues. She made the process so seamless and efficient. We love the final plan and would definitely work with Isaman again.

I have used Isaman Design for a number of projects over the years, and have been tickled with every one of them. We did a loft renovation in a commercial building in 2008, a custom home in 2009, a second floor basketball court added to our commercial building in 2020, and a tear it down-build it back again remodel of an older home in 2022. It hasn’t mattered who was the lead on the project. Whether it was Bill or Pink or Kate, the results have all blown us away each time.

We worked with Isaman Design to create our forever home in San Luis Obispo. From Day 1 of meeting Bill we knew we had found the right architect for us. We enjoyed the entire process and the team we worked with - creative, professional, diligent, and a pleasure to be around.

We have been working with Bill Isaman and his team for several months now, as we are doing a remodel of an existing house, and adding a guest house on the property. Bill and his team captured our vision beautifully, and have been very good at listening to our wants and needs and incorporating them in the design concepts. The firm has been very responsive, helpful, and creative in getting us to where we are at this point (preparing construction drawings.) They have also been very resourceful in getting us connected with engineers, contractors, etc., since we are new to the area. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

I interviewed several architects in the area and found this firm to be the most professional and creative such that I have hired them to design some three houses and other structures on my property.

We really enjoyed working with Bill Isaman and his staff. He was able to translate our ideas into the design we had in mind. He is very creative and incorporated many interesting features into our design. Bill is very knowledgeable about the latest building products and assisted us with our selection. He was very organized during the design process and our plans were done in the time frame we discussed. Our home is currently under construction.

Bill and his team were such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I hired Bill to design our home after hearing great things about his work through our community. Being the 1st time we have built a home, we knew that going with someone that had the experience and knowledge that Bill does, was the only way to go! He respected our budget, took the time to find out every detail of what we wanted in our home and made it fun all at the same time! He and his team worked closely with us throughout the whole process, guiding us every step of the way. You can tell Bill and his team really love what they do, they work to great together, making the whole process come together seamlessly. His associate Leslie was such a pleasure to work with, she was always so quick to respond to my million questions and went above and beyond to help us. . The virtual walk through Isaman offers was such an awesome way to see your home before its even built. You get to walk though and see every aspect of your home as if you were a player in a video game! The ability to see how things will look and be able to modify before any building takes place is priceless! I cannot recommend Isaman and his team enough. He designed us a stunning home for a family to enjoy for many years to come.

Isaman design is a professional organization that completes their designs on an individual basis. They got to know us, and our specific wants and needs , then created the house design based on that. They also offered exceptionally talented advice ,which made the whole process of designing our own home manageable and fun! The outcome was everything and more than we had hoped for.
