Dave is an excellent craftsman and a true artist. He is both personable and genuine. He was very flexible to work with. Dave understood my vision and worked with me to create the perfect shelves for my kitchen. The shelves add the perfect modern and industrial touch. Dave has excellent taste and resources. Installation was quick and efficient which I have discovered is a rare experience. I am extremely pleased with Dave’s service.

David was an absolute pleasure to work with on our stair railing. He was patient as he explained our options, which ranged from updating our existing railing to replacing it entirely. We're so glad we trusted David's recommendation and could not be happier with the final product. We also appreciated how seriously David took COVID-19 safety precautions when he was in our home. My wife and I personally visited Iron & Wire and meet with the owner, David Greene. For our Chicago bungalow, we wanted a front porch stair rail going into the house but didn't want it to look cheap. On the other hand, we didn't want it to be very expensive. Iron & Wire collaborated with us on a design that met both of our requirements and we could be any happier. David is someone who cares about his clients and take pride in the work that he designs and creates. For our next project, an iron railing for the basement walkout, we're going to be call upon Iron & Wire again because our first experience was so positive.

The owner David Greene is a delight to work with -- responsive, diligent and detail-oriented. Samples of finishes were readily provided during design, as well as revisions to David's shop drawings of the custom stove hood. We received was exactly what was contracted for, as it drawn up by David. The product was delivered when promised, in perfect condition. We are very pleased with the craftsmanship and design. Very high quality. Terrific job! Without a doubt, I overwhelmingly recommend this firm to anyone needing custom metal work.

I cannot say enough good things about iron and wire. I saw their work on pictures online and I loved it and I told them right away I wanted them to work on my house. David Green drove from Chicago to East Hampton NY to do the work and we are now friends - he's a great guy, honest, trustworthy, diligent, knowledgeable and proud when it comes to his work. I would say David Green - with regards to his product- is an architect, artist and metallurgist all rolled into one. When I was initially calling around the NY area I was told by the metallurgy shops that I needed to hire an architect to draft the design and most estimates were triple what I ended up spending. There was no hassle working with David - it was a very simple, interactive process. He even made a second trip out to NY after the product was completed to ensure that it all settled correctly! I had 3 things that I wanted done - 1) a floating staircase that would be nearly invisible to the eye since it blocked the view to the backyard but yet it needed to project strength- a 'metal ribbon' 2) A bannister on the second floor to match the staircase and 3) a metal hearth around the fireplace. These three changes have completely transformed my house from a makeshift 80s house trying to be modern to a truly modern, clean looking house. In my view the staircase is an example of form meets function and as such it is a centerpiece/work of art, I have no doubt that this was money well spent and I will get every penny back when I sell the house. I cannot recommend Iron&Wire enough!

David is an artist and a businessman. We hired him to help design and fabricate some very unique steps to be the center piece of our new house. He listened to our goals and helped drive the process, was timely and did the project for the originally charged cost. He has been considerate in follow up. He also helped design and fabricate our front steps and gates -- all of which were excellently and timely completed. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and his team to anyone and would use him again if I'm ever back in this market.

Iron and Wire was contracted to fabricate a custom steel firebox for a high-end condominium renovation in Chicago. From design, through fabrication and installation, Iron and Wire exceeded expectations. The beautiful firebox was the finishing touch to a custom media room.

David from Iron & Wire was great to work with. I brought him on to a project and we were able to finalize a great design for our client. Pricing was exactly where we needed to be and the end result was fantastic. Since he was easy to work with I've decided to bring him on to a few more projects. David is able to take the design intent and make it work per code and still come up with a fantastic look that both designer and clients are happy with. David made me a wonderful marble table on iron legs. It's simple and elegant. He is a pleasure to work with, very customer oriented and attuned to the details. I can't recommend him highly enough.
