We met Carol Russell after looking at a home where she had done the interior design work. We took the leap and found that working with Carol exceeded our expectations. With Carol's design ideas and creativity, we transformed our 21 year old home from it's 1995 original look to a warm and contemporary desert home. The best part is that she came up with very creative and fun ideas that are now the show pieces of the house (something as simple as the wine rack above the bar and the tile pattern in the bathrooms). She listened to what we said we wanted, incorporated what we already had in furniture and art, and let our style mix with her knowledge of current trends. The other great thing about Carol is that she worked well with our builder and his subs. She worked with them as a team and helped oversee our extensive project to make sure what we planned is what we ended up with. Our home was built in 1984. Carol coordinated a complete remodel prior to our purchase of the home - ceiling domes replacing flat ceilings, archways to replace square walkways, fireplace refacing/redesign, master bath remodel, and kitchen. She coordinated all subcontractors, all furnishings and color design. It's beautiful!

Carol managed my home renovation from concept to completion. I traveled a lot for my work so she handled the actual construction without me even being around. Everything went smoothly. She was patient with me as it took awhile for me to be convinced I needed to get this done, and then, when I was ready she jumped right in. She listened to my needs when it came to cost and still came through with beautiful products. Not only was my home renovated but she designed affordable and beautiful custom furniture for my living room that worked out perfectly. I love spending time in my home and having company. The owner, Carol Russell was a delight to work with. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. She has a very calming manner. Interior painting took place along with window treatments and fabric selections. She had worked with the people in the past so she has a good network of skilled craftsmen. I would choose her again without any hesitation.

We have worked on several projects with Carol on redesigning our floor plan, custom designing a new media center, redesigning 2 baths ,lighting consultation, tile and stone selection, color selection, furniture selection and arrangement and most recently an outdoor fireplace design. She is a good listener and works well with you in accomplishing your goals. She works well with contractors and oversees the project start to finish. She is willing to do as much or as little as you want her to be involved. She is fair and honest and responds to you in a timely manner. She even returns phone calls! We love working with her. Carol was absolutely AMAZING!! We did a complete remodel, including moving walls, changing all cabinets, flooring, countertops and appliancesin the kitchen. The family room and dining rooms were also gutted, removing and replacing the fireplace, all new flooring, paint, window coverings and lighting throughout the home. etc. The master was repainted and carpeted and the master bath had a total renovation making it handicap accessible which included removing a tub and creating a walk-in/roll-in shower, moving walls, and replacing vanities, sinks, hardware, lighting and a custom closet. . We purchased all new furniture and the work was completed and we moved in 45 days from closing on the property. Carol listened well and made sure that we only used contractors that could deliver on time. I was out of state and flew in to meet with her but she managed the project day to day. She was on top of it from day one and no one could believe the transformation in such a short period of time. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is to work with. I have recommend her to other clients and they all love working with her!!! You cannot go wrong choosing Inverness Design Group.

Carol Russell from Inverness Design Group, is a well versed talented designer who has helped me on several projects, including a complete remodeling of my home, bathrooms, kitchen, flooring.
