My overall experience with this company was not good. Be aware- there is no customer service whatsoever; my emails and telephone calls were completely ignored. The billing office is irratic and at least once I was charged for services not received. In addition, landscaping services which were included in the original agreement were dropped over time without any notice. It was an easy decision to terminate service once the monthly fee was raised (well above the average).

Dreamscape Designs - the name could not be any further from the truth. “I threw out the ‘customer is always right’ philosophy long ago.” - Mike Ferreira, Owner - June 14, 2016. I have been a customer of Dreamscape’s since 2007 and have spent over 40 thousand dollars with them on hard/softscapes and maintenance. My most recent experience has left me in shock at a new low in customer service. My neighbor recently had a new fence built with brick columns of which we needed to attach a new gate and my instructions were to have the most minimal impact to his fence as possible, i.e. only install the latch on his column. When Dreamscape’s workers came out, I confirmed that was the plan. When I came back home from work that day the gate was installed backwards with a post attached to my neighbor’s column in eight places, the boards of the gate were uneven, and to top it all off they had crudely notched three boards of our 1920’s porch to allow the door to swing open. After over five weeks of email and phone tag, I finally spoke with Mike who informed me that it was “my fault” for ever speaking to his non-English speaking workers about the gate and that he wasn’t going to do anything to correct it and intended to send the balance of our invoice that we were withholding (a whopping $150 out of a $1.5k invoice) to collections if we refused to pay. After 10 years of a relationship and over 40k paid in services he chose to not correct the poor craftsmanship and actually blame me. He also went on to say in our conversation that “I can’t afford the premium of him being on site.” I am not one to typically write reviews, but if you are looking for a landscaping company in the Atlanta area please DO NOT CHOOSE DREAMSCAPE DESIGNS unless you are ready for a nightmare!

The company has designed and installed my front/back yards with creatively and in a timely manner. The designers are extremely accommodating, and the people doing the installation were knowledgeable and willing and able to explain/discuss their work and progress. I have observed their work in a variety of settings and scope and would recommend this company.
