Our practice was established in 2016 yet is founded on 20 + years industry experience in both the commercial and residential sector with a portfolio featuring an eclectic mix of multi-use developments, such as Hotel design, Ski resorts, Restaurants & Bars through to individual private residences. Originating from Ireland, Amanda worked extensively across Europe as the Interiors Manager for an Overseas Investment and joint venture firm, creating and collaborating on the Interior design of resorts in the Algarve, Cape town and Orlando, Florida through to period Hotel restoration work in Budapest in collaboration with Ben de Lisi. This experience provided her with a wealth of knowledge in the industry and a strong network to leading manufacturers in furniture, lighting and homewares. Arriving in Australia in 2010, Amanda continued her love of design as the Project Manager for a leading Melbourne based Design studio and gained local knowledge and experience in an array of projects across Victoria and Queensland notably in the commercial sector. It was from this love of design, Interior Concepts was established; to offer a personalised and fully comprehensive design service. With access to leading manufacturers both locally and internationally, we enable direct access to highly competitive joinery and furniture solutions. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our philosophy is to make great design accessible to all and to create ambient and contemporary interiors suited to our clients’ lifestyle and budget.

It was really great to work for at a place that actually cared about their employees. Interior Concepts managed from design to construction and project management of all hotel projects for Oaks and Mantra around Melbourne. It was a pleasure to work from paper work drawings to actual project management task to complete each hotels venue with high quality of the final touches of each projects are absolute amazing. Amanda the owner of the company never failed to deliver high quality interior design services in hospitality & residential projects.

Interior concepts were contracted to style our new showroom showcasing natural stone and large format porcelain panels. The outcome was more than we could have hoped for, contemporary, stylish and inviting. The finished job enhanced the space and was achieved on a very tight deadline. We engaged Interior Concepts to design our new kitchen along with all the cabinetry throughout the house. The designs they came up with were stunning, and there are just so many things to love in each of the rooms they worked on. They have truly partnered with us to create our dream house. The designs while beautiful are also matched by amazing functionality. The detail that went into making sure it was millimeter perfect was next level and the service provided throughout the whole project was greatly appreciated. Amanda has been so accomodating, and met us on weekends and did calls after hours to go through designs and answer all our questions. The one thing we really valued in partnering with Amanda was that she not only took on board our feedback and suggestions, but that she would enhance upon what we had said making it even better. At the end of a build you tend to look back and think about all the things you would have done differently, and for the work done by Amanda and Interior Concepts we wouldn't change a thing. We not only recommend Interior Concepts, but if we ever find our selves in the position to do another house, Amanda will be the first person we call.
