Gibilaro Design Ltd stock London's most comprehensive collection of fine period antique fire grates; made up of free-standing baskets, register grates, hob grates, andirons, fire tools and fire furniture. Stock is painstakingly sourced from Europe and worldwide. The collection reflects the architectural approach and philosophy of such designers as Robert Adam, the Carron Company, Philip Webb and Thomas Elsley. Fire grates supplied can accommodate solid fuel or specialist gas effect fire conversion. In addition to antique grates, Gibilaro Design have a well-established reputation for superbly-made register grates and accept commissions for custom-built pieces. The fire grates that are made to commission, are designed and manufactured in London with the emphasis on outstanding and unrivalled build-quality. Established in London over 20 years ago, the team is led by Jesse Gibilaro. For fireplace projects we work closely with leading interior designers, art dealers, architects and private clients in the UK and abroad. The business operates from a purpose-built studio and spacious showroom tucked away under a coaching arch off the Wandsworth Road, in Clapham. A further showroom has just been completed to accommodate a small selection of chimneypieces.
