Christian Hubert Studio provides architectural and interior design services as well as design / build services for residential interiors, custom mill work, and furniture designs, Mr. Hubert’s work has been much appreciated by artists, collectors, and museum curators. He is also known for his exhibition designs that explore the relations between art and architecture, and for his residential work for prominent artists, art collectors, and other visually demanding clients. Many of his clients come back to him for new projects. Mr. Hubert gives all his clients his individual attention. Christian Hubert Studio regularly works with Touchwood furniture makers for custom interiors and furniture, and with Greentech construction for architectural design projects – including both renovation work and new construction. His team can provide full design / build services, and the work ranges from modest size and budget projects to high-end designs.

We chose Christian Hubert to design and oversee the remodeling of our small Manhattan apartment because we had seen examples of his exquisite, elegant, and serene design aesthetic in domestic architecture and furnishings. The fact that he has done many museum and gallery installations was another plus, because it spoke to his impeccable sensitivity to light and to organizing space, color, texture, form so as to maximize the feeling and drama of light. In a small space, this was essential. Christian guided us in every step of the process: from conceptualizing the reconfiguration of space, choosing exquisite materials, the precise shade of white for the walls, and guiding us in selecting lighting, fixtures, furnishings, and appointments, so that every element is now in harmony and the spaces are as beautiful and as functional as on a yacht. He brought the project in on budget AND on time, and was always available and open to our input, graciously guiding us to the perfect solution.

Christian oversaw design and renovation of both our New York apt. and our house in East Hampton. We have been very happy with the results. He can base his work on listening very carefully to the concerns and priorities of his clients and he has great taste and a wonderful imagination. He made our New York apt. much more spacious and light filled.

Chris Hubert is clever and resourceful at projects large or small.... he has done work for me over the years in my new york and vacation houses to great effect ... since he is a single practitioner one gets all his attention and his command of the modern idiom is total and he is not averse to mining history either ... plus he will not empty your bank account ... !

Christian is an unrivaled talent with an incredible eye, a thoughtful approach, and deep knowledge. We have worked with him on multiple projects and have always been delighted by his ability to find the perfect, elegant, and creative solution for tricky design challenges--as well as to negotiate finicky projects with many moving parts. The spaces that he has brought his mind, eye, and gifts to are ones that we thrill to be and feel tailor made for us.
