Global Craft Rugs is a family-based second-generation company committed to the production and import of artisanal quality rugs to the United States. Rooted in the 1970’s Kathmandu, Nepal where it primarily catered to the European market, the company shifted its base to the US in the late 1990s due to Nepal’s turbulent political climate. The last 25 years are a testament to the company’s pursuit of excellence in quality, craftsmanship and client service that it is today an acknowledged player in the American rug industry and a trusted partner of its clients. Based in Houston, Texas, Global Craft’s portfolio includes over 1000 designs and more than 20 different lines of products. In addition, the company carries program lines of its bestselling products. Apart from updating and developing new designs and collections, the in-house designers work with clients on custom rugs and are skilled to provide CADS within 24 hours. The company participates in annual trade shows in New York & Las Vegas.
