In 1989 we first contracted Imperial Kitchens and Baths to renovate our kitchen and they did a great job. Yes, there were ‘bumps in the road’ with our large project, but Larry always gave us options. We have had a lot of remodeling done in the 45 years that we have been in our home, and there are always ‘bumps.’ The important thing is how the contractor deals with those ‘bumps.’ Imperial has consistently performed in a professional manner. We called them back for a kitchen ‘facelift’ in 2009 in which they replaced the old laminate countertops/stainless steel sink with Corian sink and countertops. We also replaced the laminate on the round custom table they originally fabricated. In addition, they also renovated our ½ bath in 2009. We called them back again in 2014 to check/replace the hinges where needed on the cabinets they had built in our kitchen originally. Surprisingly, there were only a couple of hinges that needed replacing; their work has stood the test of time. Recently, we asked them to return to help repair some countertop damage and cabinet readjustment needed when we replaced the microwave. They worked carefully around all the existing cabinets. The results were amazing. It still looks like it is part of the original work. Larry Rych has been the one who shepherded the original renovation and all the other work as well. He always analyzes and explains the options we have, as well as pointing out the possible negative consequences of some of the changes we might be considering. The employees who come to do the work arrive on time and are always well prepared, work hard and are polite.

I would not work with this organization again. They did not understand what I wanted in my remodel. They did not make clear to me what was necessary in my job and were condesending when I didn't understand what they were talking about. I ended up having to find my own sink and faucet for the remodel. They delayed doing the job and never notified me of why it was delayed. There was no follow up on time line. When they removed the counter top to replace it there was a large hole in the wall where an electrical unit had been installed which the old counter top had covered up. I had to try to repair this myself since they did not offer any assistance and they charged me extra when they had to adapt to what my electrician I had to hire had done to fix the situation. It was too difficult to deal with them. Not worth my time and money.

Imperial Kitchens and Baths is a full-service remodeling company specializing in all aspects of the remodeling process. We pride ourselves not only on a job well-done, but the long-lasting relationships we develop with our clients. We are truly sorry that we were not able to bring this client happiness with their new kitchen counter; however, the client chose to not utilize all our services which were knowingly available to them.

Our original contract was to remove the old kitchen counters, then provide and install a custom laminate countertop, sink, faucet and hook-up the plumbing. Later, we agreed to install a sink and faucet the client found elsewhere for less money. However, this caused an issue when the first sink they bought was not compatible with the countertop. We attempted to assist the client in quickly locating a replacement, but they moved forward with purchasing a second sink on their own.

Once the old top was removed, it took a few days to fabricate the custom top to fit. During this time, the client chose to have an electrician, independent of our company, come in to repair electrical work they found once the top was removed. The client did not approach us concerning a remedy for any existing problems they had discovered.

The client’s electrician did not clean up after himself, nor did he reconnect various pieces of the kitchen he took apart while doing his work. Our installer now had additional work to do prior to installing the new counter, which we billed for at a discounted rate.

With all due respect, the client made this project more difficult by part-and-parceling the project. We are not responsible if issues arise that we have no control over, especially if they are not communicated to us. Nor are we responsible for other contractors the client opts to hire for other projects and we should not be expected to clean up after them at our expense.

Excellent - I know that Imperial has been in the LaGrange/Brookfield area for more than 35 years. So they must be doing something right. When I contacted them, Larry was very responsive and knew exactly what I was looking for in the way of flooring. He found the exact product that I wanted. Steve (the installer) arrived every day around 730 am and worked non-stop until 3pm...no breaks for lunch, just kept working....very dedicated. The project took a little longer than estimated but Steve found a soft spot around the toilet that needed to be fixed...thank goodness my existing toilet didn't fall into the basement!!! LOL! I am very very happy with the service I received from Imperial, Larry and Steve. I highly recommend them if you want an honest and competent contractor.

This company runs like a well oiled machine-they are efficient and timely. When they say the job will be done in 2 weeks -it is done-and to perfection. I had my bathroom updated-their showroom is nice in that there is a person to help you design and pick out all the components. I changed my mind on some things and they cheerfully accepted the changes. Their employees that worked in my home were respectful and cleaned everything up every night before leaving. Since this company has so much experience doing these jobs they can advise the homeowner whether a change is warranted or risky( like moving a pipe over in a 100 year old home-the risk was too great and costly.). I was delighted with the results and would certainly recommend them highly.

Remodeled a kitchen cabinet to accommodate a Subzero Refrigerator and ordered matching refrigerator panels. All Imperial Kitchen employees were very professional. Project was completed on time and looks beautiful. Great job by Imperial Kitchens!

I literally cannot say enough good things about Imperial Kitchens and Baths. They combined a dreadful, cramped, dated, narrow little kitchen with a wasted enclosed sunporch to create an *AMAZING* kitchen. Walls were moved, floors were torn up and replaced, mystery plumbing was discovered (and repaired *properly*I) subfloor radiant heat was installed, walls were tiled, new cabinets and counter tops were fabricated and installed, and paired with new faucets and appliances to create .. did I mention *AMAZING*? The designers understood our style and our budget, and made recommendations that brought both together to create the best possible kitchen for a cold Chicago winter morning - from the warm floors to the gleaming tile (with a stop at the built-in Miele coffee system) it is an amazing space first thing in the morning, and so open and easy to cook in it's hard to believe it's real.

We chose this business because it was local. It was a kitchen renovation to replace cabinets and update electric/plumbing. We were happy with the work until the final days when they sent a less qualified person to finish off the job. The company did make amends and the job was completed six months after the project started.

When we neared completion of the full kitchen, we did have a few additions to the project and a few snags which caused the project to take a little longer than anticipated.
Like the client, we were not happy with the initial plumbing and we did come out a second time to rework it.

A short length of trim needed to be installed, after their floors were finished by another company unrelated to us. By the time they had finished, we were out of the project.

Also, we were not happy with the countertop. Even though the client was willing to accept it, we knew the end product should be more attractive and we insisted upon replacing it at our expense. It took time to make the new pieces, but during the wait the client was using their fully functioning kitchen. With the exception of these two issues, the project took less than one month to complete.

We acknowledge that the delay was longer than typical and apologize for the wait, but we felt that the investment they made was worthy of a job done well.

コメント：Who make tile and what is color? What is name of the counter top?The glass backsplash tile is Virginia Tile Tomei 3x12 in Petra. The island counter is Caesarstone Piatra Grey and the perimeter is Frosty Carrina. Hope that helps!
