Imagination Renovation

I just wanted to thank George and his team for the wonderful job Imagination Renovation did on our custom bunk beds at our beach house in Bethany. We had a few challenges to overcome because our home is one of the older beach cottages and the ceiling heights are not ideal. However, George came up with a wonderful plan. He even added some fun nautical touches. We're thrilled with the results and have had so many compliments on the bunk beds. Would highly recommend the team at Imagination Renovation. George was a dream to work with.

I had two projects completed by Imagination Renovations. One was a built in Seating area in our Mud Room. The other was a built in Bookcase in our study. The builder offered both of these options. Overall the quality of the workmanship offered by Imagination Renovations was outstanding. I have recommended them to many other neighbors, All are very satisfied.

Imagination Renovation went over and beyond for the job they did for us. George came and looked over the painting work we needed done and gave us a fair appraisal. His crew did the job well. There were a few repairs to be done before painting and after. George made sure it was completed and the crew did a great job. They were able to start the job early and finished everything, including a couple of extra tasks early also. I would highly recommend this Company and George for any painting job and will be calling them for a future reno.

Completely reliable and highly skilled. George and his team resized and refinished a Mesquite waterbed, night stands and chest of drawers that were hand made in Mexico 60 years ago. Given the age and the hard, thick, brittle, heavy wood, the job required both careful handling and strong cutting and shaping. I am extremely pleased with the result. I strongly recommend them for routine wood work, but especially for the more demanding or challenging jobs.

I had a custom designed cabinet made for above our refrigerator. Great workmanship and exactly what I was looking for. George and his team are great to work with. Highly recommend them for any cabinet needs.

Imagination renovation helped us with the design of the project and completed the extensive Ship Lap installation ahead of schedule . The completed project turned out better than we had hoped.

Sadly, if I could give 0 stars I would. While i like George, his work product was so shoddy that less than a year after having new cabinet doors made for the kitchen I have had to have another company come in replace them. It was money thrown out and I urge prospective customers to run, not walk , the other way. With regard to his painting it peeled within days and had to be totally redone by another contractor.

Imagination Furniture put crown molding throughout my house. They did an excellent job. They were very committed to making sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them. I have also seen the furniture they make. It is beautiful.

Our experience with George Meringolo of Imagination Furniture was exceptional from our first meeting through the completion of three different projects. George was prompt, friendly, enthusiastic about our projects; a thorough professional. He worked with us by listening to our ideas, providing suggestions, ultimately coming up with designs that were ideal and affordable. The work, a window seat, built in book shelves for our library, and an entertainment center was done in a timely fashion and exceeded our expectations. Having quality built-in furniture in our new home has greatly enhanced it's visual appeal and utility. Visitors always take note of the eye-catching pieces and comment on the quality. I look forward to further inspiration (more likely ideas from my wife) so we can work with George on future projects. He has earned our highest recommendation!

George did an excellent job of helping design a custom tile-topped table that matched our other décor, and provided a point of interest. He promptly emailed photos of the proposed design of the tile layout, and we communicated easily as we refined it. His work is top-notch. He also was extremely trustworthy and helpful - he took delivery of the chairs and even assembled them for us and placed them in our house, so it was all ready when we next arrived! We would use his services again in a heartbeat.

We saw George's ad in our local newspaper and decided to call him. We wanted a custom wood light switch backplate to match the custom wainscoting panels in our home as well as a custom doorframe to match what we had throughout our home, installed when our home was built. George created beautiful and exact matches. We referred George to many of our friends, all who were extremely pleased with his work. Our little project ended creating many happy customers for Imagination Furniture AND created a lasting friendship with George and his wife.

We had a beautiful wall with shelving and wainscoting done by George and his team. The work was beautiful! George and team were on time, neat and respectful of our home. We have another project in the works for our office area can't wait to see how that turns out. I would definately use Imagination Furniture again and again!!! Ellen and David Chun
