Igor Kraizgur and his team are the only true option for home improvement. Igor and the team are all extremely experienced and very hard working. We had a full basement renovation and at every step we had updates on the progress and recommendations on design. The team are always on time and very dedicated to their craft. Igor and the foremen were always responsive to questions and provided feedback within the hour. The project was completed ahead of schedule. I would recommend IK Home Improvements to everyone, we will come back to them for any new projects we have.

After consulting with a few different contractors Igor and crew were one of the only willing to open up my main floor. Igor and crew were up to the challenge of placing a 26 foot beam in my main floor ceiling to give me an open concept kitchen/main floor that my wife and I could ever dream of. My wife is a big HGTV fan and man did we get a renovation that could be fit for TV. Igor thanks for making our house into a home. We walk down every morning thinking that we are staying at someone else house.

Igor and his team did a great job renovating a basement bathroom. After the first visit to view the project; they got started immediately and completed the work way ahead of schedule though there was a lot to do. The work was well done and the only issue was ordering and receiving the items they needed quickly enough! Igor's team were hard working, polite and friendly - they were not afraid to check with us for guidance and preferences when needed. They always cleaned up at the end of the day and did a very good cleanup after the job was completed. Thank you IK Home Team for doing an amazing job for me and my family .. They built a legal secondary dwelling in our bungalow and it was very well done, on time and within the budget and alot of times they went above and beyond for us to get it done. This was a large project but it felt like it was small as everything went smoothly and quickly and that was important for us as we were living on the main level during the construction.... Overall we are really happy with the project and the IK Home team ....We highly recomend them to anyone

Igor and his team were great. They came highly recommended and we are satisfied. We took over an incomplete flip right in middle of COVID, and luckily were able to sell our house quickly. Therefore, certain interior items were more pressing (like finishing the Kitchen and a Bathroom). Igor prioritized these tasks for us. We also have a more complicated situation with structural issues above both garage doors. Igor took the engineering plans, cut the concrete, installed new beams and finished the structure off, meeting the city inspectors review. I found Igor and his team very accommodating, they even took on some minor issues that came up that was not on the original statement of work. His quotes were reasonable and he ensured everything was to our liking. Would highly recommend him.

We gave Igor a tough job: a short deadline to complete the construction + manage the unusual business hours that he could that. His team did an amazing job and on time. From the floor to the ceiling, everything was well done. He also gave us advice on what to get and what not to do for our project so we could fit it in our budget. As a homeowner, I needed help finishing my basement project where I as most of us do take on too much. I found and chose Igor Kraizgur and his team, after interviewing a few other home improvement professionals. He was the most upfront about costs and his ideas about how to resolve my issues in a cost effective manner with of course my vision in mind. Throughout the project, instead of finishing things myself I just asked Igor and and his team to finish off the remaining items. They worked so diligently, clean and organized. He was also honest with his scheduling and there were no surprises with workmanship or cost changes. On any future projects I have coming up, I would simply text Igor and his team first without hesitation.

Igor was hired on a firm fixed-price contract to complete the construction of a legal secondary dwelling unit in the basement of a bungalow that we are renovating to become an income property. Igor was very pleasant to deal with throughout the entire process of hiring, construction and wrapping up the project. He and his team were professional in all aspects of the work and they were adaptable to the changes and challenges that arise during any large renovation project. When extras were encountered, they were very fairly priced and in almost all cases, they were performed without schedule impacts. When other trades did impact the schedule, Igor was very adaptable and adjusted his schedule accordingly and without additional cost. I enjoyed working with Igor and I will use him again in the near future for work at my own home.

Igor did a fantastic job tiling our bathroom. He was very clean and respectful. We are looking forward to future renovations with him.

We hired Igor for a basement walkout project, and would definitely recommend him to others. I wanted to have a ground-level door that opens into the internal staircase leading to the basement, so we don't have to dig external stairs to the basement. I consulted with a few contractors and everyone told me it can't be done because my side wall and the neighbour's side wall are only 8 feet apart. They all recommended the more complicated solution of digging external stairs in the backyard, which would have tripled the cost, ruined the backyard, and made it a longer trip to access the basement door. Then I consulted with Igor. He showed up on time, got to work with his measuring tape, and a few minutes later concluded that my idea was technically feasible and that a city permit was also possible as he worked on a similar project before. He was the first to tell me good news, so I was initially skeptical, but decided to pay the deposit and see if he can get his plan approved by the city. Sure enough, he worked with an engineer and got the drawings approved by the city and obtained a city permit. The project involved cutting an opening in the concrete, reinforcing the door top, and minimal redesign of the internal stairs. He also installed an outdoor wall lantern and its associated electrical. The project turned out beautiful, passed city inspection, and the total cost was 1/3 what others had quoted us. I told him later that if he hadn't showed up, we wouldn't have completed the basement walkout project, because we didn't have the higher budget and didn't want to have the backyard eaten up by an ugly external staircase anyway. I'd say we got lucky that we found Igor for this project. I think Igor is a creative thinker and has the technical expertise to get the job done. Would definitely recommend.

Igor re-tiled our bathtub surround, hooked up new fixtures and completed a number of other odd jobs around our house. He worked incredibly diligently to ensure that the job was completed in the time and price quoted. Everything was professionally finished and looks great.

Hired Igor to cut and install a basement egress window and he surpassed my expectations. Very professional, friendly and always has time to offer help or ideas on other projects. I appreciated him encouraging me to do some of the work to lower cost. I will be contracting him to continue with the basement renovations, which will include a 3-piece bathroom.

He pays an incredible attention to detail which results in top quality work, He first installed a new backsplash in my kitchen. Simply put, it looked perfect. Following this project he installed ceramic tile in the bathroom and cork flooring in the kitchen. I was happy to learn that he was skilled in masonry work and was so pleased with his preparation of a new window well, installation of a larger window in my basement and a stunning new front door with stonework. Additional projects included replacement of a structural column at the front of my home, and the design, construction and installation of cabinets in a powder room and basement. The project was the complete renovation of a 30 year old side-split bungalow, including removal of walls to create a modern open look in the kitchen and living areas, the addition of an attic beam to compensate for the wall removals, addition of modern hardwood flooring throughout, and ceramic tiling in entranceway, mudroom, and bathrooms, and complete renovation and update of the bathrooms. Igor's work ethic, knowledge, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and budgets were exemplary! His willingness and ability to deliver beyond the original scope of the project without significantly impacting deadlines and budgets was appreciated! I highly recommend this professional!
