iCork Floor

I purchased floating cork plank flooring from Icork Floors and I am very happy with the product. I have had cork floors in the past - some good and some not so good, so I was very particular about the quality of product and the finish. Anne and Stephanie were both so patient and knowledgeable as I called many times to ask questions. The pattern I bought called Salami is beautiful. I wanted something with both light and dark that would age well and not show dirt. I was amazed at how beautiful each plank was as I inspected them when I took them out of the box. I was worried that the pattern might be busy but it blends beautifully, looks rich with an organic feel to it. It is warm and comfortable to walk on and is not cold. We did apply extra finish as recommended as part of the floor is in our kitchen. The finish has a subtle luster to it and as I read somewhere by another reviewer, an almost velvet like finish. The floor is pretty easy to maintain. We do have a new Shark vacuum with a special microfiber cloth attachment on the wand which works nifty for cork or wood floors. The folks at Icork and their sister company Cancork really know cork and take pride in what they do.
