Scope of Project: Basement Finishing Price: Very Competitive, HSU does a nice job of giving you a quality project within your budget. Craftsmanship: Very good, every aspect of job was done well; all revisions to original plan were completed to my satisfaction. Communication: Good, contractor tends to be quite busy during spring and summer months, so answers to inquires might come back in two days instead of immediately, but nothing excessive. Timeliness: Work was completed within the agreed upon contractual time frame. Final Assessment: House Services Unlimited is a very good contracting operation. Mike Whritenour is personable, reasonable and his teams of contractors are very respectful of your home and time. Quality of the work in very good, any major remodeling project can be stressful, however HSU made the process as seamless as possible to avoid any major problems or issues. I enjoyed working with this company; felt it was money well spent.

Finished Basement to include framing, drywall, and electrical. Easy to work with. Willing to make adjustments. I would hire again for a another home improvement project.

I am one of HSU's repeat customers. I think that really says a lot since I would not hire them again if they had done less than outstanding work. I first hired them to do some painting in one of my rental properties. Not only did they do an excellent job, they went beyond what I expected by doing more than what was in the contract because they said it would make my place look better. I was so satisfied that I hired them again to do much more extensive work on another of my rental properties. In addition to interior and exterior painting they did a full kitchen makeover, installed new windows, put laminate flooring in the kitchen/dining area, and performed smaller tasks too numerous to mention. One of the great things about HSU is that it is a family business. Mom even gets into the act with some top-notch painting. Hiring HSU is like hiring a family. I plan to use them for future renovations.

After receiving a detailed estimate complete with pictures, we hired Home Services Unlimited to remodel our lower level bathroom. Mike Whritenour and his crew did a wonderful job. The wallpaper had to be stripped and dry wall patching done; the vinyl floor tile was removed and replaced with ceramic tile; a new vanity, light fixture and toilet were installed as well as a grab bar, electrical outlet, and a replacement light switch. The workmanship by each member of his congenial crew was excellent and the room was finished as scheduled. At the end of each work day, the area was vacuumed and all of their gear placed neatly out of the way. Mike was very responsive to our emails and also to last minute ideas. We would definitely hire his company for any future project.

Excellent job! I love my new bathroom. The workmanship on the tiling was great. The painting and new baseboards were perfect. What was quoted is what I paid, no change orders.

We hired Home Services several years ago to do extensive repairs on our split rail fence. It's a large fence -- 4' high, enclosing about 1/2 acre. This included replacing numerous posts, as well as 30 or 40 rails. Since then, we've called Mike two more times to replace rails and posts when trees have fallen on the fence. Mike is always prompt, communicates well, charges a fair price, and above all does excellent work.

By chance I found Home Services Unlimited, LLC while looking for someone to replace my tub/shower. My request was answered in less than 24hrs. Mike Whritenour set an appointment, came over to take measurements and sent a proposal shortly afterward. Upon the set date and time his crew arrived in a timely manner and in a cheerful mood. They got to work immediately. This job was completed in the most professionally manner and they did a great job. I would hire this company again for other home improvement projects.

We hired Mike and his Home Services crew for extensive interior painting at our new home in Centreville. Mike's price was very competitive, workmanship - great, and easy to work with. Mike's work also included some siginifcant drywall repair and moving of air ducts / vents - all done with great satisfaction.

Mike has done many projects for me as well as for my parents. He is our go to person for everything we need when it comes to home projects.
