This is our first custom built home. Taking on this task at 70 years old seemed like a crazy adventure. But, Gary (Sensitive Information Hidden) and his team made this dream come true. It has truly been a pleasure working with these guys. Gary is a builder who is prompt, honest and experienced. Our house was completed in 7 months. There was very little down time. He had people scheduled and working nearly everyday. We highly recommend HR Homes.

I have to update our review. It’s been 1 year since we finished the build and we ran into two minor issues that Gary and his team went above and beyond to address. I have heard about the horrors that people have had when building their homes; it is all about the builder and his team. My wife and I are so happy with our home and the results. HR Homes and Construction did an outstanding job building a home for us over the last 10 months. This was the 4th home we had built in Georgia and this project team exceeded all our expectations. Not only did they complete the home ahead of schedule but also came in under budget thanks to the rigorous oversight and tenacious work ethic of the management team and their contractors. The punch list was minimal and was taken care of quickly and professionally. The quality of work was outstanding but more importantly the lines of communication were far better than I could have ever hoped for. This company works to the highest standard of integrity and was an absolute pleasure to work with! Hoping to do more business with HR Homes and Construction in the future.

We interviewed Gary along with four other builders. Gary being the last. We were looking to buy a home or property, not sure which but my wife and I wanted to gage costs. Gary was the last builder we talked with, we walked the prospective property with him and discussed our options for home placement. The difference with Gary and most of the other builders was that we did not see dollar signs in his eyes. He was direct, personable, very knowledgeable, and definitely not pushy. We discussed our options and talked about our faith journeys. He passed us his number and said that if we needed to talk about anything related to the prospective build to call. During the next 6 months we moved forward doing everything necessary to buy the property, all the time calling on him for advice. Yet never had we signed a contract. In our mind we had a deal, he had put our trust in us and us in him. We signed the contract in January of 2022 and finished the build October 2022. He told us he would do everything in his power to help us keep the costs down but the cost climate was not good. Wood products were up over 3 times their normal costs, and product lead times were long. All that being said when we finished we came in under budget! Our loan official was shocked that we did not need the full loan amount. Trust is the main attribute that separates people you want to work with and those you don't. Gary, his family, his sub-contractors, his Brother Jason, everyone associated with HR Homes are people that we trusted from day-one. The manner in which they worked and the final product are outstanding. When taking on a project for a client there will always be bumps in the road. It is how you handle those bumps that count. Gary was always very professional when working out ways to overcome the obstacles; he was very good at keeping solutions cost effective and not diminishing the outcome. Gary, Cyndy and I thank you for all you did. Your integrity and friendship throughout our build made the project. I cannot say enough about the work you did and the manner in-which it was done. Our home is beautiful, thank you.

We have been very pleased with Gary and his team in the construction of our new home! He's extremely honest in his dealings, and conscientious in his work. Rest assured that any issues - no matter how minor - are handled promptly with no questions asked. We love our new home and never plan to move. But if we did - HR Homes is our builder!

Good honest team. They were very easy to work with and had no problem handling our many changes we came up with. They have always followed thru with what they promised, and still contact us to make sure everything is going well. The few minor issues we have had were quickly remedied.

HR Homes is first in class and was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If your expectations are a well-built project with high quality workmanship then I would highly recommend HR Homes and Construction. This was my second home build but first custom build. Initially I thought this was going to be standard build with the typical challenges you hear of, but HR Homes was able to shine and differentiate themselves from the competition in a professional and humble manner. Most builders will or could tell you answers you want to hear but fall short on delivering. HR Homes and Construction uses qualified and reputable sub contractors who yield quality finishes that fit your expectations. I'm not saying our build went without challenges but none that were major, thankfully. One of the cons experienced are some of the sub contractors lack of respect for one another's work. For example, interior trim looked fantastic when initially installed but other subs who returned to finish work caused damage to the trim which became frustrating as we were trying to reach our completion deadline. However, you can rest assured that HR Homes and Construction has very high standards and expectations from all of their sub contractors who will ultimately be responsible for correcting issues or damages that occur. You can also expect the builder and superintendents to be honest and timely while pursuing your best interests by recommending items or revisions to better meet your expectations at completion. Building during a time of economic uncertainty was also very challenging and worrisome. When compared to others in the building process it was pleasant to see how organized HR Homes is with their suppliers as well as with procurement of building material as far in advance as possible to meet our desired deadline. As a customer however, in order to let HR Homes shine you must also be realistic, organized and prepared to have your selections and secondary options on hand to overcome potential delays. This was pleasantly surprising and I can happily state that we did not have to wait on critical building materials outside of normal, fortunately. We were also impressed with the builder's ability to hold sub contractors accountable on pricing and to pursue additional quotes based on their industry experience. At the completion of our build HR Homes was excellent with punch-out requests and finalizing items with sub contractors afterwards, as needed. In summary, I would highly recommend HR Homes and Construction for your build as they are honest, trustworthy, and sole goal is to serve you respectfully as a customer.

Gary and his team at HR Homes and Construction Inc did a great job from the beginning to the end of building our home. Gary was always attentive to details, quick to respond, very knowledgeable and produced a high quality home. There was a lot of prep work (bulldozing and clearing of land) that needed to get done before we could even start the build process. Through the build process there was a major amount of supply chain issues that Gary kept us informed of and worked tirelessly to keep the build on track. He offered alternative suggestions/solutions to help curb rising costs while not compromising quality. I have and would continue to recommend HR Homes and Construction for custom building.

Builder always willing to answer questions and deal with issues in a timely manner. Very courteous and knowledgeable about the industry. Flexible and understanding when issues occurred.

This company has worked with us from the beginning til now to make sure everything was up to our standards. We were in contact weekly during the initial design, during the build, and up to and after our 1 year warranty. Any questions that came up, I was able to get in touch with Jason, Gary, or Cary. Even issues that popped up after hours, they would respond. An amazing company to help you through the building process.

Gary and his crew are awesome. We've been in our home for nearly three years now, and just love it. In our first year of ownership, if we had any issues, Gary or one of his crew would come over and help us fix it. And past the one year mark, the craftsmanship and quality of the build are still apparent. We're very happy with our home, and hope to be here for a long time.

I worked with Gary during the planning phase of our major renovation. He spent a lot of time with us and was very professional and helpful. He even offered to let us visit his own home to view design ideas and finishes. We ended up having some delays on our side of things that were completely out of his control. Those delays messed up the timing and added to the cost of our project, and ultimately we had to go with someone else. But I would definitely still recommend Gary without hesitation. HR Homes Built My Parents House in 2017. Great company and wonderful to work with, there were never any questions that weren't answered or expectations not met. Since I first met Gary(OWNER) we have worked together with several projects and as always it is a joy to work with the team at HR Homes.

Gary with HR Homes and Construction has done two projects for me. We added a gable on to the back of our house and extended the deck. He also did a kitchen remodel for us where we opened up the space by removing walls and making the area "open". We added an island and extended the cabinets. On both projects we were extremely satisfied with the work and attention to detail.

HR HOMES AND CONSTRUCTION was professional , fair priced , and stuck Very close to time lines and budgets he gave us in beginning! He also worked very diligently to help us save money where we could and where the right places were to spend the extra dollars. Very happy just did one year walk through and all we had was 3 cabinet drawers/doors to be adjusted and that is it. I work in this business and see mile long 1 year warranty items. We contracted with HR Homes to build our dream home. The challenge was that the front 1/4 of the house was on a slab and the back 2/3’s was on a basement. Gary did a fantastic job insuring the best trade people handled the build. He was constantly available for give and take discussions with regards to various items that come up during a custom built home. He managed expectations well and brought us in on budget. He also allowed us to pick fixtures, stone and other products what we wanted even if outside the normal vendors he had worked with. All in all a great job.

We have lived in our for about 2 years. We have had no issues with any workmanship. The builder went the extra mile to make sure everything at each step of construction was to our satisfaction. Construction was completed in a timely manner even through the weather conditions. Total Satisfaction with this company!

I first met Gary when he was the general contractor for a renovation of our church. Since then I've worked with him on a couple of other projects that have turned out great as well. I've worked with several contractors over the last 18 years and I've only got 2 that I can recommend and Gary is one of those 2. Gary Rymer with HR Holmes and Construction built our forever home on a very difficult mountain lot four years ago. We are very happy with the construction, durability of floors, walls, roof, etc... Building a home from scratch is a very stressful event but Gary always answered the phone and managed the process well in spite of a monsoon rain season during the build. We were throughly impressed with all the sub contractors and would choose them all again. We had an issue 9 months into the new home with a tankless water heater. Gary stood up to the manufacturer on our behalf and got us a new/ different model installed after the first one failed several times. Punch out was taken care of quickly and professionally.

HR Homes built out the basement of our son’s home. We just love the outcome. We feel like we are in our own home It is spacious and bright. Gary was very helpful to us as we had never did a new build before. Advised us on things we weren’t sure about He helped us make the right decisions in many areas. We love our home and highly recommend this company

HRHomes built our dream home 2 1/2 years ago. We still love it. The quality is great. We had a problem just after the 1 year warranty had expired but they still came out and repaired the rather expensive problem at no cost to us. Would I hire them again? I referred my son to them.
