I am an architect and have collaberated with Douglas Gibb Photography for many years and found them to be great to work with and the work they produce to be top quality. We did several photo shoots with them which resulted in the projects being featured in UK wide magazines - this was so helpful as it really raised the profile of our work. Douglas and his lovely wife Alison are a great team and a pleasure to work with. Douglas photographed an apartment for me following a huge renovation and the photos really are amazing - they really capture the essence of the home & bring it to life. Douglas's photographs are beautifully shot to ensure that they are perfectly composed and beautifully crisp, clear images and great care has been taken in post production to reproduce colours faithfully. On the day of the photo shoot Alison & Doug were very well organised, providing props where required and giving clear instructions. Regular consultation with me ensured that things looked "just so" so that they were happy as photographers submitting images for magazine publication and I was happy that the design and look of the home was accurate and true. Douglas and his wife Alison took the photos and styled my house with very little disruption to my day. Their approach is very down to earth and practical. A photo shoot involving the entire house could have been chaotic but because they are so warm it felt like having a couple of friends over for the day! Alison interviewed me for the magazine article but due to her warm nature it felt more like a natter over a cup of tea. Incredibly professional duo. Alison kept me up to speed with every stage of the shoot and was in regular contact afterwards keeping me informed of what was happening with the magazines needs too. All in all a very relaxed yet professional team and would happily have them round to my new home!
