We are thrilled with how our home renovations turned out. Helly did a fantastic job guiding us through a (near) full house project which we had never done before. Our main bathroom is our favorite and all the details throughout ( window treatments, wall paper, fixtures) complete our space.

My husband and I hired Design Home Matters to help us with a remodel of our home’s kitchen, bathroom and to choose paint colors. Helly is the main person from Design Home Matters with whom we worked. From the first time we met Helly, we felt really comfortable with her as she is very friendly and easy to speak with. Helly works with a great group of people, her own internal folks as well as cabinet designer/architect, general contractor, countertop, etc. I believe she made the design process easy as it could have been overwhelming. She asked and listened to what we wanted. My husband and I usually gravitate towards two different styles, and I think she was able to listen and combine our styles to create our vision for the kitchen and bath. I usually have lots of questions and Helly answered them in a way that I could understand and was nice about it. Helly provided us with a proposal, and she was mindful of the hours she charged and came in within the budget. As with any home remodel, there is only so much budget to go around and Helly was able to accommodate our remodel budget so that she chose higher finishes where needed and more budget friendly alternatives where it made sense. Helly is professional, honest, a good listener, trustworthy and just overall a great person to work with. We would happily work with Helly and her team again.

Helly did a great job designing a fantastic new master bathroom for us after a leak caused our old shower to be unusable. She is a great listener, very creative, and was very responsive to our questions throughout the renovation.

Our builder gave us Helly's name and we're so glad he did. I needed help reviewing our design plan with a professional. Within 75min Helly suggested a different orientation of our kitchen plan, using tile instead of luxury vinyl for our bathroom floor, and helped with color choices. We're making all of Helly's recommended changes. Helly gave us confidence and peace of mind. We would recommend Helly for your remodel, decorating needs.

Helly was awesome at helping us navigate our differences in opinion, which made the process of remodeling our bathrooms so much easier. She was also great at providing resources and tips so that we could do some of the work ourselves to save some money. I highly recommend Helly!

We loved working with Helly and Design Matters Home! We were daunted by the task of tackling a full interior remodel and Helly ended up being the perfect choice for us. Not only was she able to incorporate our sense of style while also pushing us in new directions and inviting us to consider new things, she responded to my many questions quickly and with kindness and a generosity of spirit that I appreciated. Among other things, she was able to find unique tiles for our bathroom that we absolutely love, and our entry way tile design is impressive, it really sets the tone for the rest of the house. Both Beth and Jeremy/Velocity Built LLC were incredibly easy to work with and have the attention to detail that is needed. Jeremy is easily the best contractor around the Boulder area. Working with Helly was a great experience. My living room and kitchen are totally transformed and we love living in the new space. Even the inspector mentioned how nice the remodel is saying he's seen a lot of remodels. I hired an interior designer because I became overwhelmed trying to do it myself, and Helly really helped in narrowing down and providing choices that I would have never thought of. She also has really good contacts and sites so if you want to choose your own items, you could run them by her or she would provide ideas that you could choose from. Very flexible and responsive. Will be using Helly for my next project, the basement.

Helly assisted me with a master suite renovation and a kitchen renovation. Both projects were complete, down-to-the-subfloor renovations of these two rooms in a 26 year-old tract home. I really didn't know where to begin, having never tackled anything like this. I found Helly through a search on Houzz and was impressed with her award-winning renovations. I'd never hired a contractor for a job this big, and I had never worked with an interior designer. I was intimidated by the idea of doing both. From the day she arrived, I knew I would be able to work with her. Breezy, bright, calm and down to earth! Helly is a good listener - she listened to my ideas, and a good communicator - she helped me understand her ideas. She helped me "go big" where I wanted to and helped me save money where possible while not compromising on style. She is magical at finding unique and beautiful surfaces. Helly also helped me to find my contractor, assisting us through the bid process and in deciding where to put our money and our faith. Her experience with project management was invaluable to us. I know that our contractor also enjoyed working with her, and found her solid and reliable in terms of materials and timing. From floors to blinds to counters, she guided me every step of the way and the results are stunning. Friends can't believe the transformation of our home.
