Helene combines an artist's flair for design with a craftsman's attention to detail and meticulous follow through. She regularly works with architects and clients to design homes from conception to completion. Her diverse portfolio speaks for itself. The designs reflect Helene's innate and fine tuned sense of style, balance and visual drama. A native of San Diego, Helene is a graduate of the University of Calidornia at Los Angeles with a Master's of Art History. Helene's background coupled with her expertise in the areas of lighting, space planning, selecting finish materials, designing custom furniture and cabinetry - combine to produce award winning projects that share a timeless aesthetic. She always listens to the Clients desires and needs, and she helps to get the project done in a timely fashion. Helene and her team have helped designed three of our homes, most recently in Cabo San Lucas. Her eye for color, fabrics, and the ongoing revolution in materials have always been spot on. She is knowledgeable of the latest trends, but has kept us focused on what she refers to as "timeless" design, where our homes look fresh for years into the future. Many pieces of custom furniture were built for our homes, to insure perfect style and proportion. Helene was invaluable in our latest project where we built our house in Cabo from the ground up. She was able to help us with many architectural decisions, complementing our Mexico based architecture/design team from 1000 miles away. She and her team are very professional, efficient and when necessary, patient. They are on time, accountable and are very capable of designing to budget, providing trade-offs during the process to achieve the desired result. When out next project arises, we'll be back.

Jackie and the Beanstalk

We hired Helene to help us decorate our new home. We were very impressed by the depth and breadth of her knowledge. She showed us the highest quality fabrics and had many pieces for our home custom made. She tuned into our tastes immediately and provided the highest level of professionalism. Her background in fine arts is evident in her use of color and proportion. Photos of our home were featured in San Diego Home and Garden.
