We asked Ploughcroft to re-roof a house built in 1925. The response was immediate. Chris Hopkins came out and thoroughly surveyed the outside and inside of the roof. Having previously studied the roof online, he had chosen suitable tiles, Having verbally agreed, he provided an email quote the same day. Shortly afterwards work began. Shayne and Phil arrived early every day and worked solidly until tea-time. Shayne communicated every point of the process clearly and answered every question. Both of them were extremely polite, kind and professional. They were completely trustworthy. I had to go away for some days and left the keys with Shayne with no hesitation. They cleaned up every evening and at the end of the project. The office staff were also pleasant, efficient and dealt with everything straightaway. I cannot praise this outstanding company, and particularly Chris, Shayne and Phil highly enough. It is rare to come across such an exemplary business and employees. They deserve a gold medal and wide recognition. I recommend them to everyone.

Ploughcroft carried out work on my heritage roof and relaid block paving at the front of my house. They arrived when they said and were polite and efficient. I was invited to inspect the work at regular intervals. They left the place clean and tidy each day when they left. Very professional, easy to deal with and an excellent standard of work.

My experience with Ploughcroft was simply 'The Best.' HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys. Initial phone call, site visit and start date given and total costs involved. No hidden extras. Deadline completed. Followed all Health & Safety procedures. Punctual, very professional, experienced, expert advice, high standards, caring and friendly and great attention to detail and diligent in their approach and enthusiastic. Regular communicate daily from site foreman. Extremely hard working in all weathers. Photos taken before and after. Work ethic and dedication and commitment is outstanding. Flat roof 85% warmer and rectified bad workmanship from previous roofers. No more leaks. Very supportive office staff too. Fantastic job. Excellence and perfection all round. ~Very satisfied customer!!

The initial survey on our attic Velux window was carried out to a high standard, with full discussions on the available options and including a sketch being sent to us the day afterwards for clarity. The job was booked in and the scaffolding was put up safety by some polite contractors on the arranged day. They ensured the site was safe, including all safety signs which was important with us having two young children on site. The window was fitted perfectly by two very polite and nice guys in one day and then the plastering was carried out the day after by another excellent tradesman. All the people we dealt with contacted before the visits to let us know when they would arrive. Overall, very happy with the whole process and the completed job. Recommended!

Having had a vey poor and expensive experience with another roofing firm, I was apprehensive and sceptical about employing somebody else. Ploughcroft had been nothing but brilliant, from the initial visit to completion of a re-roof with a thermal blanket. The team who carried out the work were extremely professional, friendly and polite. All work was carried out to a very high standard and each evening once finished for the day, the place was left immaculate. The customer service is second to none. If you want piece of mind that a job will get done properly and to a high standard, look no further.

Peter plinston

An excellent job done replacing a small roof. There were good and regular communications from the company and the roofers were diligent, worked for long hours to ensure that the job was done well and without wasting time. They uncovered, and solved, an unforseen problem with a redundant chimney and left the site nicely cleaned up. I have no problem giving them my full recommendation.
