Geralyn is simply amazing. I feel incredibly lucky that we found her to design the interior of our new build. She is creative, cost effective, kind, and patient. Her designs simply blew me away and I am beyond thrilled with how everything came out. I cannot say enough about how much Geralyn cares. When a wallpaper we adored was far beyond our price range, she came up with a cost effective solution that I love even more! I do not know many that would go out of their way to do that. She is a treasure and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. I would recommend her to anyone!

Geralyn did an amazing job on our home. She worked with the pieces we had, found fixtures and furniture that highlighted our style, and never pressured us on budgeted requirements. She understood our vision, gave us a clear bid, and executed perfectly! I felt she added value from the planning stages of the renovation, to hanging the art work. I cannot wait to work with her on future projects!

Geralyn worked with my wife to decorate our new home and couldn't have been a better fit. I was a bit apprehensive after hearing some horror stories from friends about decorators that went way over budget, but after just a month working with Geralyn she more than alleviated my concerns. She worked with my wife to find beautiful, one-off pieces that were within budget and far exceeded expectations. She is honest, organized and certainly very experienced. Our house looks amazing!

I highly recommend Geralyn Applegate with Heirloom Hardware and Home. This past winter 2016, Geralyn oversaw the major remodel of our 1940 home. We transformed an upstairs master into 3 children's bedrooms plus a playroom. Downstairs we turned two children's rooms into a master suite and relocated a laundry room to open up a kitchen plus added a powder bath. Geralyn was instrumental in helping rework and rethink architectural plans, overseeing that the contractor's work was quality, and finishing it out by picking out details such as counters, paint colors, fixtures, cabinet finishes, etc. Geralyn was extremely professional, creative, and offered well thought through solutions that have served our family well. She is truly talented and has great taste and also the ability to respect and work with your style if desired. She truly understood my style but also pushed me to be a little more adventurous. I also appreciated her ability to work with our budget. She offered design that fit well within our budget and also had great inexpensive and creative suggestions (i.e. painting out trim in a very dated bathroom, things that we could repurpose, etc) for the remodel and to update areas that we are currently not able to remodel yet. Geralyn was very good at overseeing the details of the project and saved us many, many times by catching mistakes the contractor made or was going to make. We love how everything turned out. Her design of adding a peninsula and wall of cabinetry in our kitchen where the laundry room used to stand has completely changed the functionality of our kitchen and has made it the most used and enjoyed spot in our home for us and our kids. Our master suite is a peaceful haven and the kids' upstairs area is a perfect retreat for them. Not only is Geralyn very talented, she is a total delight to work with. She is kind, fun, patient, and one of the nicest people you will meet. She was also a huge support though out the remodel - constantly answering questions and helping me think through all aspects of it. She'd provide many solutions and pictures so I could visualize it. She is extremely knowledgeable and a true gem in the design world.

Geralyn and I have done many projects together and there's one undeniable truth; she has an exceptional eye for color! She works hard to find quality products at reasonable prices. This serves to gain her client's trust, business and praise. I enjoy working with her because she is meticulous, friendly and prompt.

Geralyn has been fabulous to work with! I can't say enough positive things about her. My husband and I purchased our first home and she walked us through making the smartest decisions about remodeling as well as helping us decorate to our desired styles.
