We are artists, designers, consultants, entrepreneurs and makers who want your space to be the next fabulous portfolio piece. We want your space to look as good as you know it can be. We collaborate on creative projects™ to make your project the best it can be within your budget requirements. We have worked on very small residential projects to a very high end and profile client with a Park West, New York City penthouse floor project (images available on request). Our main business is in the commercial area and we have worked on projects for BCBG MAXAZRIA, Guess?, The US Senate, major museums and galleries and thousands of other commercial applications since 1997 with our parent company Display Direct. We are branching out into the residential field and have found that we can be an excellent resource for unique, creative and quality residential projects.

I ordered a walnut charcuterie board to give as a gift and was so impressed with the quality of the board that I immediately ordered another one. The recipients love them. Darin is amazing to work with - professional and talented. He keeps you updated on the project and is so easy to communicate with - boards were carefully packaged and shipped on time. Darin crafted a unique dining table for us. He listened to our specifications and took us to choose the wood. The black walnut table was made with a live edge. His design and talent is evident on this book matched table. It is exactly what we wanted, truly one of a kind!

It was a true pleasure working with Darin on a custom charcuterie board for our new lake house. Darin surpassed my vision of creating something truly special and unique. He sent me tons of pictures of potential boards to choose from during the initial process and then kept sending me updated pictures throughout the project. I wanted him to laser etch the name of our lake house and an outline of the lake onto the board, add brass feet, and a handle. Darin seemed so excited and "into" my project. His passion for his craft really shined during the creative process and in the finished product. He's a true artist and our new board is truly the conversation piece of our kitchen.

His resources are indefinite and he is very knowledge about materials and the custom construction process for pretty much any sculptural or furniture piece you could envision. He's been a wealth of information and sourcing for me and my clients. His projects are done with a lot of thought and meaning behind the design elements and his quality materials are met with skilled craftsmanship. This company is great! The owners are wonderful and great artists who really aim to please! I was referred 14 years ago by a friend and have had Darin make five custom pieces for me since. They get back to me right away and continue to always be reachable. They have come in under budget and on time with each order. Additionally, they do many bespoke pieces that are gorgeous and many with reclaimed wood. But what every your style, formal, modern, designer or organic, they make it happen. Three of my pieces were modern and 2 were very designer custom and they all came out exactly as I had hoped for. I highly recommend!

Philip Sawyer

Darin has a keen eye for design aesthetics, and a deft hand and skilled ability and experience to then carry out and finish what he has designed. I have had him make a number of things over the last few years, and all have turned out not only well, but have surprised me in fun ways. The attached project photo was a replacement handle for a still-useful stovetop espresso pot -- one of the most innovative and challenging projects I've had him tackle. I would definitely recommend him for any project you have in mind.

I have nothing but good things to say about HAVA studios. The project I worked on was a public commission which in the end was awarded to another artist. Darin White was a big help figuring out the practical aspects of how to realize the very complex design. He had great technical solutions and creatively thought up ways to keep costs down without compromising my vision. He was pleasant throughout and very flexible. He knows his stuff and - if needed - is a quick study, I highly recommend him!
