Hartwood Oak Buildings Ltd is a traditional oak timber framing business based in Newbury, Berkshire. We design and create oak framed buildings in both traditional and contemporary styles. We are passionate about quality and finish and never compromise on materials or methods. The result of using oak throughout the entire structure, together with traditional jointing, is a building that looks beautiful and will last for generations.

サービス内容：

We will design your oak building with you, advise you on planning and submit any applications required including those for listed buildings, commission the groundwork and brickwork, cut and erect the oak frame, then roof, glaze and finish the building to your specification. Electrical wiring and plumbing can be arranged through our quality subcontractors. We will frequently check that all is well with our clients’ buildings long after we have finished the on-site work. For particularly sensitive or complex planning we are able to call on the services of specialist consultants.

Fantastic service with a superb and well crafted finish. The project was completed on time to the standard Hartwood are synonomous with. I found both Tim and James interested from the outset in the look and finish the client wanted to achieve. All in all, very impressed.

Hartwood Oak recently completed an oak framed garden Room Kitchen Extension for us. From beginning to end their service and attention to detail was superb. All of our queries were addressed quickly and efficiently. They were so neat and tidy in their work and even left the kitchen cleaner after the main knock through than when they arrived. From the groundsworkers to the carpenters to the roofing people to the plasterers and plumbers, all were cheerful, polite and prompt. They worked long days and stayed til the job was done and even popped in at the weekend to get ready for the next week. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they have done a superb job in a short time with the absolute minimum of disruption to ourselves.

I cannot recommend Hartwood Oak highly enough! They took on a challenge, building two porches at either end of my house, with a roofed, fully glazed, 19 metre, sloping walkway between the two, to cover my son's wheelchair ramp. On site, the guys were enthusiastic, hardworking, easy to talk to, and very polite. We are thrilled with the work they've done for us. We've had a couple of minor glitches that have needed doing since (door easing etc), and they've got out to us within a couple of days.

We are over-the-moon with our new oak garden room that Hartwood Oak built for us. They handled the entire project from design, planning through to build and project management and were professional throughout. Their on-site team were a pleasure to have around and were friendly and respectful at all times. On the few occasions when we queried something, they responded quickly and made sure that we were happy with the outcome. The quality of their work is clear to see and the room has really added some wow factor to our cottage.

Having embarked on a large project to modernise and extend our 1960's house we decided to add an Oak framed garden room/kitchen to the rear of the property. Hartwood oak designed, dealt with the planning and project management of our project and although oak framed buildings are generally considered as a more traditional solution, Hartwood Oak created a modern twist that delights anyone that visits us. The new extension is where we spend most of our time and has transformed our property. Our whole experience of the Hartwood team was fantastic and we would, and have recommended them to friends and family.

Hartwood were asked to provide a porch for our back door to match existing oak timbered features of our house and to replace two large sliding doors in an oak timbered building which were not working. We found them very proactive in terms of design suggestions, interpreting our needs to come up with practical solutions which were sympathetic to the design of the house. The installation work was done on time, the joiners and other trades were clean, tidy and efficient, they went beyond the spec and repaired other small faults found in the existing building. Everything was completed without delay and on budget.

I can't rate Hartwood highly enough. They designed and built an oak framed two bay garage with work space above. Right from the start they were efficient, very friendly and utterly professional. Whilst they were not the cheapest I was so glad I decided to use them. No extras other than the things I asked for. The site was always tidied at the end of the day and any queries were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. What's more they're a genuinely 'nice' team to have on your property. I missed them when they left!
